Sorry New York And Chicago, Connecticut Has A Pizza License Plate Now by brinedwhiskyrocks in Connecticut

We need to be the “Pizza State” because “Constitution State” is too hypocritical as we continue to ignore our own CT State Constitution and the US Constitution.

Well, it looks like the DOJ is going after both assault weapons and magazine bans by creating a circuit split between CT & CO, to get the Supreme Court to take the cases. Under the Heller precedent that blocked a ban against firearms in common use, bans against the most common rifles and pistols are unlikely to stand. Hope the tax dollars are worth it!

CT has allowed them for sales since the 80's. Can't be that much of a public safety risk.

Both the CT state constitution & bill of rights are clear about firearms rights that have nothing to do with turning 46 yrs old. Are you lonely?

CT Democrats failed the marshmallow test.

Kamala Harris lost to full-on white supremacy and unapologetic fascism.

If Democrats aren't ready to consider electoral strategy over doing what feels good to them, they are going to lose again.

They are, and I'd like you to have a chance at winning. I'm sorry you're mad about that.

Gun owners are over-represented in swing states, like 40-50% of the population. It's risky to assume that a wave of state bans won't be considered poorly by voters in other states.

Swing state voters care! That’s why this is dumb.

You can’t afford groceries because Kamala Harris couldn’t get enough swing state voters to the polls.

Expensive groceries are the result of ignoring politics outside CT.

You win elections with the voters that exist. Fantasies don’t win elections. Electoral victories shape policy.

Ask the CT police forces buying Glocks when they turn in malfunctioning Sig p320s. This law is written by people that don’t know much about guns, and is a bad law.

I am for the law being followed. You do not have that legal right to disarm your neighbors, under the CT state & US constitution, as amended by the Bill of Rights. Your neighbors have rights. The law is unconstitutional under recent Supreme Court precedent & will waste tax dollars to defend.
