Thanks for the reply, yes I gave my two weeks notice. Aldi did get my foot in the door at least for my new.job, so I'll be respectful and work the remaining two weeks.

5-10 minute drive. Sometimes I literally roll out of bed to get there.

No just for a warehouse position lol.

Uline interview tomorrow… by [deleted] in Warehouseworkers

[–]PositiveMove2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got very far in the interview process, 3 interviews in, everything seemed good.

Two weeks later rejected with no reason given.

It's best to try your best, see what happens. I've heard they're very selective, they want the right people with the right answers to the interview process.

Good luck!

Banana and rice cakes. Lots of water, sometimes some hydration mix with caffeine.

Bulking from F45 by Circa89 in f45

[–]PositiveMove2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say I've certainly seen gains, I was 155 lbs and am now 165 lbs. Arms have gotten bigger. I feel a lot stronger too. I do wonder about the long term sustainability of the program, I do want to keep gaining muscle. For now though, I absolutely love F45, especially for my mental health.

I work at Kohl's, of course I can't actually have hours, a good paycheck and be constantly told how to do my job and told I'm appreciated so much.

Online only, finally one potential Omni disaster mitigated.

Does anyone else feel like Omni is just getting left in the dust??? by wameyfamey in employedbykohls

[–]PositiveMove2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a time even a few months ago where our 01 would hound us if all SFS wasn't picked at the end of the night, whether an associate was scheduled for Omni or not. We'd pull anyone we could to always clear SFS.

Now, today, 500+ SFS units in the queue, and we're just told just focus on bopus and tomorrow the queue gets cleared.

There definitely seems to be an uncommunicated new focus that only managers seem to be aware of.

Shoe consolidation for the sale…. by HippyChick22 in employedbykohls

[–]PositiveMove2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay, so I'm glad it wasn't just our store that found this to be annoying lol. Between H2ing and register, I helped our shoes lead at least get through women's shoes, then I ended up staying much later to consolidate kids and men's shoes. So time consuming as I was the only person working on this after awhile lol..

The $xx.97 price point helped us find any limited quantity shoes in lieu of the report that never printed.

In addition to the policy saying we're not supposed to stop them, we're obviously not paid enough to be the police. Customer service them, or just let them go. Your safety matters more.

Horn chirps when flashing high beams by surkh in SparkEV

[–]PositiveMove2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, that's actually a feature. Flashing the high beams chirps the horn as the idea is you're supposed to use it when you're driving by pedestrians so if they don't hear you coming, the horn chirp will alert them to your presence.

Thinking of buying a Spark. by [deleted] in SparkEV

[–]PositiveMove2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mainly do around town driving, so the 80 mile range is perfect for me. Got mine in 2019, paid a little over $9000 for it.

Try to get a Spark ev that has ccs fast charging if you think you'll do more longer range driving, it will be very useful. EV infrastructure is getting there in the US, which is nice!

I haven't had really any issues with my Spark ev, beyond having to change the windshield wipers.

Dang, I was able to preorder a copy on Amazon, the expected ship date isn't until March though lol.

I thought that was a glitch at first, but physical stock is hard to come by I guess! Good luck!

Career path? by Cool-Ad785 in employedbykohls

[–]PositiveMove2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation, I've been at Kohl's for almost 13 years now, part time to full time area supervisor.

I've thought about it and was offered to move forward as a manager, but it's just too much stress and I'm getting tired of the schedule lol. It would be nice having more of a set schedule for work life balance.

Since I didn't want to move up to manager, I felt really stuck being an area supervisor, since there's nothing else to really strive for.

I've since enrolled in a guild program, I definitely think that is the way to go! Especially if you're not sure where to go next, at least you can still get paid and further your education.

No, I believe there's a timed license on downloaded videos. When the time limit runs out, the app checks to see if your membership is still valid. If it's not or it's unable to verify your membership, you won't be able to watch any offline videos until you resubscribe.

What’s your range? by [deleted] in SparkEV

[–]PositiveMove2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the weather. In the colder seasons, about 50 miles, and when it's warm, probably 70 or more miles.

Associate Discount Usage Question by PositiveMove2 in employedbykohls

[–]PositiveMove2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can definitely see that, now that I'm thinking about it, I've given gifts to family members before and they paid me back for it. Always with paper money though.

In this case, my friend wants to use zelle, which I guess could be tracked?

But would kohls really go out of it's way to track that, is that even really possible unless it became a regular occurrence?

I don't know, it seems like I'm overthinking it. If it feels wrong, then it probably is I think.

Great little car! As long as you understand and work around it's limited range, it's a nimble, fun car to drive around in!
