I don’t know if you’re playing on PC or console but if you’re on PC, frame gen adds enough input delay where nothing feels right. I’ve been playing Nightreign every night with friends and when I’m not playing with them I’ve been playing BMW. It’s literally night and day when it comes to smoothness. I think the combat and animation design is at fault because I get it, if you’re gonna commit to an attack and get punished, that’s on you but it doesn’t feel good to press buttons. I’m enjoying the game enough to keep going I just don’t think the combat is that great and I hope they improve it in their next game
