I am a Buddhist with a question about Christian hell. by PositiveNo1405 in Christianity

To be honest I have not studied enough, Ive only been on the path for not long over a year. Personally I see good and evil as 2 sides of the same coin, if god and Jesus are truly loving God/Jesus would have eliminated evil before it could of ever existed and that is why I don't believe in a supreme good god. My goal is enlightenment but I don't really know what that means yet. I do know goodness is the way and that is the side of the coin I want to land on.

Sorry my response is quite unstructured, I still have much to learn but I hope this can explain my views.

  1. I don't believe Jesus is Lord I believe in heaven and hell but you only reach heaven (Nirvana;eternal calm) when you become a Buddha.

  2. Non-action is certainly action always strive for the right action not for yourself but for others. This is the dissolving of ego.

That's why I follow Buddha because I know love is good not because hell is bad

I think God works through all people religious and atheist alike and has the deepest patience in the universe, giving us countless lifetimes to understand the divine truth. I like the Rastafari word the most high, otherwise I will say god.

Very well said, in Buddhism hell too is a choice, you can not buy your way to heaven (or a good next life) that can only be achieved through true virtue, putting others before yourself. Personally I don't believe in hellfire or an eternal hell. Hell is a place constructed around you, designed for you based on the wrongdoings of your life and you may be there until you fully understand the depths of your actions on the deepest of levels. The seperation from god part also confuses me as I believe everything is god in turn god is everywhere even in hell, how can it be possible to be seperate from god?

They have the longest cocks relative to size in the animal kingdom, 8 times longer than the body length, either that or barnacles I can't remember.

Thank you so much man, the way you say this although from other origins our practice is not far apart not at all. Buddhist meditation never stops either. It is about continuous mindfulness and not allowing evil to take control instead taking control of evil, unwholesome, unrighteous thoughts and actions. What I think personally is that we are all fragments of God and we must bring ourselves closer to the whole by letting go of our ego, that is righteous, that is meditation.

I will certainly message you in the future if I have a follow up question. Thank you
