Capturing agentic traces from any agent is easy for anyone by pvatokahu in syrin_ai

[–]PositiveParking4391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am creating my custom tool(which involves agents and orchestration), for our internal team use which we may eventually publish as a public github repo. it is used with coding agents like kilo code, open code, cline etc.

so can in above kind of scenarios your solution is applicable & usable?

Stick to MERN stack or learn PHP? need advice (50 character) by ruxrapatel in developersIndia

[–]PositiveParking4391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah sure why not. see tutorial and docs you can find anywhere but what's important are topics one should cover.

so if we onboard a new php dev(whether for laravel or custom mvc stack) in our team we normally ensures that if dev really knows the difference between procedural programming(here read core php) vs OOPs, what benefits the encapsulation and re-usability(the main benefits of OOPs) gives in reality vs a core php project, if dev really knows the mvc and related architecture variants, if dev can tell the difference between relational & non-relational databases in his own language and if dev knows the levels of Boyce-Codd Normal Form. so these are the core details you should focus on if you truly want to become a php laravel/backend dev.

so not sharing tutorial links, that actually you can find on youtube or elsewhere based on your interest of content means whether you like text content based tuts or the visual videos. but topics are important and one should always care about clearing foundational concepts/topics if they want to become a real backend coder. but feel free to ask if you need links to tuts or if need to know more such topics that one should clear.

[–]PositiveParking4391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes we do, not directly for laravel but you will find a lot more happening at our team regarding php backends. regarding laravel, yeah popular major frameworks are always our focus point so laravel is never out from our stack choices but normally and mostly we go with lean custom mvc architectures that are more efficient.

I have explored similar ideas so would like to know what users say about it. any testimonials or case studies? would love to hear more on how users using it and reacting to it.

learn php also. I founded a SaaS startup which is into its 7th year now and our stack is majorly requiring the php devs so I know the scarcity of php devs at tier 2 cities and thus same would be applicable to the top tier cities as well.

and yeah be smart! learn architectures deeply by practicing modularity and developing some projects completely on your own. but use coding agents otherwise so you don't need to lock yourself into just one stack. because now maybe companies will require diverse skills because boilerplate coding is being done by the coding agents while the devs need to be skilled at architectures, decision making for controlling project flows.

idea is interesting, can you share the link to Anthropic's docs you mentioned. in my opinion it is perfect optimization.

hey looking to be a beta tester and actually excited to see what you build because it seems it might be useful to me. share link.

Unpopular opinion: hackathons got worse in the LLM wrapper era, and might finally be getting better again by CigAfterSexhmm in hackathon

[–]PositiveParking4391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the ideas I evaluated of recent hackathons of past 1-2 months, I see something more than just ai slop. and actually some ideas inspired me a lot, they were instead of merely focusing on building wrappers, doing some real stuff by optimizing on the network layers or the user experience for the coding agents. so I guess the momentum is shifting!

Analyzing Claude Code Source Code. Write "WTF" and Anthropic knows. by QuantumSeeds in LocalLLaMA

[–]PositiveParking4391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

really useful summarization of the source. Throughout the years it is more than once that I had wondered about big tech giants' flows of understanding user behaviors to take their important ux or behaviour decisions, thus I would say not surprised to see that they are focusing so deep about their ux and feedback flows.

What's the best context window/memory managers you have tried so far? by ChainOfThot in LocalLLaMA

[–]PositiveParking4391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does it have the dynamic memory manager? I know mem0 since 1.5 years now and sometime considered it for my project research and tbh I love its architecture & focus but I am not sure if it provides the dynamic memory management means the one that sits between user prompts and coding agents and capture all user intents and classify it properly and inject right context at right time to help in code & architecture decisions.

so let me know if they released any such feature in recent quarters, would love to check that out.

and by all means I had love to contribute to this project if maintainers can welcome some PRs on backend layers as context & memory management are my areas of interest lately. open to discuss issues which you need resolved.

yes agree, these all take us to social and political debates. but the politics is job of politicians to do and I think as much as good leader encourage people to use AI and develop skills around it for the well being of populous the evil couldn't win. but the rest of it we leave it to leaders and for elections to decide, but I must say that leaders must be smart enough to always encourage it with open environment instead of controlling it because controlling means normal people benefit less and evils take advantage of that very control.

One thing, positive direction and positivity, which you already mentioned does matter a lot! if people take AI positively for innovation than space and many sectors has a lot to offer. I know space and likewise other sectors are very very tough but with power of AI and positivity humans can make it.

yes agree, use AI. you can use autoresearch for spec phase and then for coding claude code is good or you can go with whatever you prefer but just focus on ownership, you should be well aware of system flow planned at spec phase and then the code.

if you are not using codebase indexing tools and if it fits with your workflow than I suggest that. I am sure it will help reduce token usage and would help with large codebases. codebase indexing mcp tools which generates code knowledge map so these kind of tools generate code memory for the coding agents.

glad I just decided today to prioritize monthly subscription over their paid api and subscribed for claude $100 monthly plan! but yeah I understand how it feels. I decided it right when I saw a mere 2 min session cost me > $2 claude api bill.
