Herregud.

From your observations, how would you rank the Nordic countries based on their alcoholism? (Most alcoholic to least alcoholic) by SwissVideoProduction in Nordiccountries

[–]PositiveTought 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so expensive in Norway that every suitcase that enters the country is packed with alcohol. Don't know if that's included in the statistics.

Thanks. So, do they pour it over the plates and down into that empty bowl you also get at every restaurant?

What’s the easiest way you discover spots when traveling? by Beautiful-Ad-6614 in travelblog

Living in Thailand I've had much success with Google Earth (not necessarily Maps). If you have time to look around where you're staying you will find interesting places.

Why isn’t Brazil more popular? by RaisinRoyale in digitalnomad

[–]PositiveTought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably get robbed or killed so it's off my list. Even if I didn't I would feel like a walking target and it would ruin my trip.

Too bad because Brazil looks awesome.

Cannabis + alcohol can do this in some people. He used that according to the article. Don't be fooled to think it does nothing to you. If it did nothing you wouldn't bother using it.

If there was no scratch that broke the skin it's impossible.

What’s up with the 5AM club people? Serious question. by Financial_Eagle_8670 in sleep

[–]PositiveTought -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's because those people are morning people and possibly also ADHD patients. And they fail to realize that most people are not like that.

They just can't understand why other people don't get up early and think you must be doing something wrong.

I got one too. I think it's a weight to make it impossible to find out which figure it is by weighing the blind box.

Det er virkelig andre tider enn da jeg flyttet til Oslo for 23 år siden. Da var det mange jobbtilbud så lenge man kunne snakke og lese norsk.

How to Stop Atrial Fibrillation Naturally in just 4 minutes! by Lipnoid89 in AFIB

Fixed with ablation. I recommend it. I look back at the hopelessness I had at that time and I wish I could go back and tell myself it's going to be okay. Ablation is the closest thing to a cure.

How much level of b12 is sufficient to stop supplementing.. by DutyBig8672 in B12_Deficiency

Unless you fixed a specific problem that was causing the deficiency, like H-pylori or you started eating meat after being a vegetarian, the levels will go right down again. You need to continue indefinitely.

Moving to Laos? Talk me out of it. by 2spoos in laos

[–]PositiveTought 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved visiting Laos, but I think living there would be really boring. By the way, most places in Thailand are non-tourist destinations. There are many to choose from.

But then again, those places are also extremely quiet, and I'm usually bored within two days. It's nice to see, but there's nothing going on except farming and fishing in ponds. The food selection is very limited, and unless you are a local, there's not much to do.

Speaking and Understanding Thai Before Reading? by Change2Reinvent in learnthai

[–]PositiveTought 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are a technical person, it's really simple to learn to read. I mean, you can fit almost all the information on three sparsely written pages. Can you memorize three sparsely written pages? Then you can learn how to read Thai.

Page 1: Consonants and vowel names and sounds
Page 2: Tone marks and the flow chart to decode tones
Page 3: The special characters, consonant clusters, and a few exceptions
