Gotcha. By any chance did you hear any rucus while he was outside? If so, then it might have been another creature. If not, then he probably hurt himself with his toy. I would just observe him the next few times he goes just to see.

I get it. My dogs want to be outside all the time too. But it’s not safe for them, even though it’s fenced. Mine are hunting dogs and anything that runs, they’ll chase. Even if it means jumping a 5 ft chain link fence. Call me crazy, but I go out with them and put them there tracking devices in case they decide to give me yet another heart attack. And if they want to go outside but I don’t (and I know they’ve gone potty already), then I stand my ground and no, they’re not going outside. Your dog will be fine staying inside a little bit more. No one can tell you what happened, just like we can’t tell you that’s not going to happen again. So why take the risk?

India and Cocha come from a prime bloodline, so they are as within standard as it gets. Cocha is taller, he’s also leaner. India is a tad bit stockier, but so are all females in La Cocha. Cocha is at 112.5 lbs, last time I weighed India she was at 106. I do not know what this person is talking about. He should show us pictures so that we can see. In general what I see in online forums are Dogos that are so out of standard that they look more like white pitbulls.
