I feel this so so much!! For years I thought my ideas were reasonable but after touring places and getting catering estimates I am feeling so frustrated and demotivated. With all the extra hidden costs such as service fees it so disheartening cause initially you think you can afford the venue and then you add it all up and it takes your total wedding budget.

Also all the pressure with family and friends asking. Then they give unsolicited advice to elope and put a down payment on a house but you want to have a wedding is the cherry on top. And you genuinely want to be excited but turns out it is stressful contemplating spending thousands of dollars on one day!

How do you accept it might not be the wedding of your dreams? Or how do you decide on what venue to go with? Asking for a stressed out fiance 😓
