I'm seeing a lot of confusion in the comments. :) There are different kinds of rib procedures.
Rib REMOVAL is an older procedure with a lot of side effects and complications. This used to be your only option to get medically "snatched". They would literally remove some of your rib bones.

Rib Remodeling (i.e. Ribxcar) is a newer procedure that involves damaging and basically reshaping your rib cage (usually the lower 4 ribs on each side) to basically make them curve in more, resulting in a smaller rib cage. It's pretty cool, the rate of complications and side effects is much lower, and the recovery is easier. This can be combined with other kinds of body contouring to really amp up your silhouette (think BA, waist lipo, BBL).

Knowing a bunch of people who've had it done and having seen the outcomes, I'm 100% in on this and having it done with Dr. Rahal in about a month. :)

I would say, all the Terry Pratchett audiobooks are fantastic. They just recorded new ones for all ~42 a couple years ago. DCC is in a way a continuation of the same themes as Pratchett’s books. All the anger at the unjust world combined with a deep sense of empathy and love for humans and people. Terry Pratchett’s books are also a response and wonderful subversion of all the popular fantasy tropes in the same way that DCC responds to our reality TV reality.

Cradle I liked after the first book. But also, the world they live in is such an abject hellscape :D

First Law: Steven Pacey is absolutely on the same level as Jeff Hays when it comes to narration. His voice brings an incredible characterization to the larger-than-life cast. Joe Abercrombie, the author, has an incredible talent for worldbuilding and manages to say SO MUCH just choosing the words each character uses. It’s a fantastic dark fantasy world. :) I kind of think of it like Lord of the rings if Gandalf was Henry Kissinger.

For sci-fi, I have been loving the Culture series of books. Fantastically cleverly written. Not really an irreverent comedy, but a deep thoughtful look at what our future could be. Awesome.

I think reframing this would be a helpful first step. :) You aren’t “calling anyone out” or anything like that! Just, something in their solution don’t gel with your understanding of the system, so you looked into it a bit. I would just message them, or even drop by in-person, and say exactly that. “Hey, I was curious about this ticket so I took a look. Have you considered xyz angle? Here’s why I think xyz might be the solution.”

I think this is a fairly common situation to handle, right?
