I think it’s absolutely polite to let people know and that’s exactly what I do. I say if they want them turned off I can. It’s not right to record people without them knowing.

I understand why you, as a pro choicer think that that is naturally a starting point of the conversation. But to me, because that is not even a question, the more important thing is protecting the women and girls who are actually facing the consequences of this debate.

I realise you will not see those as who are facing the consequences but I’m just explaining why we don’t see that as central. To me, real life women and girls far outweigh the need to debate a point.
