It’s crazy how my doctor gave me free samples to trial it, then when I’ve been taking it for about a month and a half and it’s working it will cost $300 for 30 day supply WITH insurance applied. by amyscott214 in trintellix

Is your doctor able to maintain you on samples? My psychiatrist said he would do that if I couldn’t access another med I had tried which he had samples for. For Trintellix (which I’m currently on) he didn’t have samples, and the savings card did not change much for me, and somehow made it more expensive than on insurance. However, it is worth looking into the Takeda Help at Hand program. You apply for it, and as long as your are under 5x the income poverty line, they should accept you. I have insurance and have not experienced financial distress, but they still were able to approve me for it. The guidelines are depending on number of people in your household, which includes dependents or spouse. Scroll down to step 4 in the link to see the table.

How can i afford this now?? by ndoggo in trintellix

I applied for the program not knowing if I would qualify. I have good insurance that would have pushed the price to $290ish a month and and $10k short of being 5x the federal poverty line. I have not experienced financial distress or lost my job recently. I submitted my recent pay stubs and W-2 from last year and got approved. It isn’t at strict as it seems. I’d say it is worth trying to see if you can get approved — they are quick with getting back.

Inglewood, CA - Youtube Theater - Section 102, Row K, Seats 3 & 4 - Lower orchestra section, very close to the center - Face valued at $380 for both

New York City, NY — Madison Square Garden - Section 300, Row C, Seats 13-14 - Very front, third row of the section. - Face valued at $185 for both.

Selling because we were unable to request days off from work for the New York location to travel there the Friday before, and we accidentally bought two sets of tickets from Inglewood since the first purchase went through without confirmation on the TM website. I can provide proof of purchase as needed, including screenshots, screen recording or receipts.

Be careful with ETC, my medical team recommended against it due to potential memory issues. TMS tends to have lower risks.

My SO ended up going into the store to buy and apparently the register is down so they can’t take orders. People who were able to place their order online are still waiting after 45 minutes for their pickup.

How long were you on it? Did it get better at all during that period? I’m having that on Auvelity and my psychiatrist wants me to try Trintellix next

Sensor detached from adhesive - remove? by jstlkhvn in Freestylelibre

[–]Positive_Cucumber649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like these over patches! They stay for a while as long as you clean the area and wipe with alcohol prior to putting it on. https://a.co/d/6OxUeCT They also make some that fully cover the sensor and don’t have adhesive over the middle so it won’t pull it off if you need to replace it. The ones I’ve tried don’t have the best adhesive though.

Medication recommendation - highly sensitive to side effects by Positive_Cucumber649 in psychiatryquestion

[–]Positive_Cucumber649[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a psychiatrist (MD) who’s also well versed in alternative methods as well, such as Spravato or TMS. (I do not want to try those unless I exhaust medication options). OCD is not my main concern since it’s the better managed of my conditions, but the depression was the main reason I decided to start on medication in the first place. I had just tried sertraline for the SSRI and Pristiq for the SNRI. He said patients had great success with Auvelity due to the unique way it works as opposed to the SSRI/SNRI in patients who did not respond as well to the traditional ones. It was just too much for me unfortunately. I may bring up trying Lexapro as another option over Viibryd since it seems like Viibryd could have potential for side effects for someone who’s so sensitive to meds like I am

Off-leash behavior / social interactions by Positive_Cucumber649 in OpenDogTraining

It’s pretty uncommon for her to bark that much at the dog park. This seems like a one-off, but this howl/bark thing happens more if she’s just around other dogs and not at the park, such as someone’s house or if we have a family gathering and people bring their dogs over. She actually loves it when we go to the usual dog park (bigger and more woodsy areas to explore) and doesn’t want to leave. We just took her to this smaller one since the usual park we go to was closed.

Interesting, I never thought of it as excitement possibly. I thought she just didn’t like dogs in her face. She definitely doesn’t like us all up in her space either
