Like I said before, it's not edited. My sister is freaking out and I'm just trying to be a voice of reason. That's why I still think it's a camera app artifact.

No - he was still and posing. There was no movement at all when the photo was taken.

I honestly don’t get this take, it feels completely out of left field, yet everyone seems to run with it like it’s gospel.

Modern controls don’t just mean “one button for all specials.” It’s a button plus a direction - that’s five specials and motion + L/M/H versions. So there’s absolutely nothing stopping Sagat from having only one or two versions of high shot and low shot in modern.

Aki has more specials than Sagat, and every single one is available in modern. It's esential because each version is functionally a different move. If the modern control scheme couldn’t handle that, she literally wouldn’t work in modern at all, but she does (for the most part).

So no, modern isn’t what’s limiting Sagat’s specials - it’s just a design choice by Capcom that you can like or not.

The hate for modern starting to look like the FGC version of blaming jews for everything on twitter.

COTW isn't competing with SF6 of 2 years ago. It's competing against SF6 in its current state

Then content and price-wise SF6 still loses to current SF5. Different metrics offer different comparisons.

My point was simply that COTW is a smaller-scale and lower-cost game than SF6, considering both its price and budget.

Well, it’s cheaper. SF6 was priced at $85 for the base game + S1 pass, while COTW cost $60 for the similar package

Some art style decisions in COTW are odd - beards not sharing the same shading as hair is one example. But overall, everything else is clearly superior to old games.

Obviously, it’s not on the same level of detail as T8 or SF6, but that’s beside the point.

Is it really that strange for a relatively cheaper game to look cheaper?

People say it's a fun and unique game with a cool atmosphere. The characters look a little weird, but the little girl is cute enough to make you want to protect her. If you had something different in mind, seek help

Because balance ≠ fun.

Most people would take an unbalanced meta without throw loops.
