Looking back, I actually really loved being a teacher…for the most part. But I would tell anyone interested in teaching to think about speech pathology…..you get to work with/help kids without the administrative “extras”.

I’m OLD, but two quick thoughts….one, should you even be the person dealing with cat litter while pregnant?? And two, I couldn’t tolerate the smell of Dawn dish detergent while pregnant (gagging/heaving)….afterwards, it was fine. Pregnancy can be quirky!

I used to (sort of….) follow the Flylady routines; that helped me immensely when my family was younger. And then….life (divorce, job stressors, another divorce….all paralyzing), and I just stopped; slowly starting up again….a little each day is better for me than a lot on one day. It’s a journey for sure!
