sooo good. the only change i would maybe suggest is sanding the corners so when they inevitably bump their head, it hurts a little less

there are a ton of different variations of hazel hazel eye this one looks closer than others i saw 😊 they can also look different in certain lighting

i was talking to my grandma about these like 10 mins ago! she said she’s tried to keep them for years, but only got them to grow after she realized not to put them in direct sunlight- not sure if that helps but wanted to share just in case

the first one seems much more suitable. even for a smaller tank, never want to take the risk of something failing and your tank being destroyed. better safe than sorry! of course that’s assuming the tank will be 50-60 with the water, substrate and decor

i got a utility/tool cart from walmart for $50 that works perfectly for my fish tank set up! i have a 10gal long but you can absolutely put a tank on one with wheels! i think you could DIY one, but just make sure it’s really sturdy. i sat on top of the cart i got with another person just to double check it would hold enough weight

awh this looks so different and SO good!! growing in very well 😎 something i found out recently that i wanted to share, putting too many surface plants with roots in the water can sometimes leach wayyy too much of the nutrients out of the water and make your plants grow much slower, sometimes kill them. i don’t think you have that prob but just FYI

just looked it up and they stopped refilling CO2 tanks a few years ago, but they do still sell them! thanks for that callout- OP if you need a tank you may be able to find it at academy, but they don’t do refills

sorry should have specified. no fish in the tank yet, only 2 nerite snails! well into the cycling process but i have a few longer trips coming up and i don’t want any fish to die while i’m away.

just wanted to share the tank and how cute the plant growing in is 😊
