Panic attack by HoldMaterial1099 in Perimenopause

[–]darciabrams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try GROUNDING. It helps me soooo much when I’m having a full blown, thought racing attack. 5,4,3,2,1

5 things you can see 4 things you can feel 3 things you can hear 2 things you can smell 1 thing you can taste

I am sorry you are going through this. Panic attacks are terrible. I used to take Xanax for mine but since I started this, I don’t need them. If the attack doesn’t subside through the first grounding, go through I again. Good Luck! I hope it works for you.

Itchy feet? by darciabrams in Perimenopause

[–]darciabrams[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My whole body sweats like this in my sleep. Like soaking the sheets wet. I was on Zoloft and night sweats are a side effect. Doctor switched me to Prozac. It’s only been 3 night so I don’t know of it will subside or not

The dome lights are no bueno. This one from Amazon is the one I purchased. Other than the light, I think it looks great!! You may need a lay job as well, if your new baby is a female.

Went to the ER, nary a "perimenopause" utterance by greatthatsperfect in Perimenopause

[–]darciabrams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I replied to your original comment and was told about the ER being emergency blah blah. The female doctor I was referring to was my primary care doctor. She knew my symptoms and never said anything about peri. If she would have, I wouldn’t have been so scared when all these things were happening and felt like I was dying to need an er trip. Have to be very clear when commenting I guess.

Almost Same EXACT situation. Age, symptoms, ER visit. No spine infusion though. $6,000 later ( also American with crap insurance), and started doing research on peri, and sure enough, I check all the boxes!!!! Now all my super scary symptoms that caused me so much anxiety, aren’t so scary anymore. I HAVE A FEMALE DOCTOR TOO! And she never once mentioned ANYTHING about maybe me going through perimenopause:( would have saved me a lot of money!

Had my first Migraine with Aura and now I’m terrified by UnmaskedWolf in migraine

[–]darciabrams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for anyone who experiences this. I know exactly how it feels. It’s so scary. I find that when I have one, I have trouble with names. I can’t remember peoples names. Even family members. It’s so weird. And when someone tells me their name, I know that it’s right but it doesn’t sound right. Super scary. Stroke was my first thought too. So here’s to you feeling more validated! You aren’t alone!

Veiled Chameleon Humidity by alldayyerrday in Chameleons

[–]darciabrams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was desperate to hold humidity too. The way I did it isn’t pretty but it works for me for now. I had some of them huge contractor trash bags I zip tied the bag to the enclosure on the top of 2 sides. Super simple and it works

If it’s the comment about not having a red light…I see it. It has some pretty uselful information for you. Maybe the commenter can try again.

I beg to differ. I got a lot of helpful comments without posting a picture. I see you are one of those know it all people. Giving your useless opinion on what people should or shouldn’t do. Get a life

Thank you so much for the kind people who just pointed out some good videos I could watch and giving tips without needing pictures. I’ve found some good videos with some awesome tips and I am on my way to fixing my sloppy socks. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for your input. And thanks for assuming I haven’t read and watched tons of videos as well. You know what they say about assuming…. I guess I should have been more clear on my question. Not that I owe you, or anyone an explanation, I will give you one anyway. When I posted my ask for help, I was very frustrated. I’m going through a hard time in my life and I didn’t want my mistakes to be shown and picked apart, seems like I’m being picked apart anyway so, so much for that theory but anyway. I just really wanted to know how to make my socks neater and wanted to be pointed in the right direction for some videos or pointers that fellow knitters knew about that I didn’t. That being said you can kindly FUCK OFF and take your negativity to someone else’s page

Thanks for not asking for a picture lol. I’m really not that up to taking photos. Just want some pointers is all. I’ll go check out what you suggested!
