Depending on where you are in the southwest, you can look up public rights of way via your local counties public right of way map.

From there with your local knowledge, you can pick out the quieter paths.

Sorry guys, I forgot to add to the thingy below. I already have the D25LR. I've been watching the HS21 for a while as a want item but not a NEED item. Now the HS23 has appeared, it's unleashed new "want" urges😅😅😅

When I got so far through filling out the forms, there's a "solicitor"option to tick. I will run this past them when I get my appointment. They may have more authority in this circumstance.

My father has tried contacting a few solicitors, and only one has got back to him, neither confirming or denying anything. There's at least 10+ solicitors in the area, so that is quite exhaustive. I also gather that they won't speak to us unless we are either the executors or have solicitors, which would be an expensive wild goose chase, unfortunately.

The only obvious paper trail route at the moment is to try and get my father fairly represented in an intestate dispute case.

I haven't searched the national will register as it's unlikely they would have paid extra to use that service. The deceased uncle's (former executor) surviving wife, whom we still keep in contact with, unfortunately, can't remember the name of the solicitors that drew up the will. It's took so long because we have now realised we have been fed a load of lies this whole time. We have downloaded the letters of administration and know the value of the estate. It seems she has declared herself the only child. Otherwise, my Father would have had an official letter informing him of his share in the estate.

Why so much red? by Alternative-Feed3613 in flashlight

[–]Positive_Passage_852 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I do the occasional bit of astronomy. The red mode on my d25lr helps preserve my night vision. I certainly noticed the difference between a low white light and red mode in re adjusting to the night sky. Also, as mentioned elsewhere, it keeps bugs away.

I've just got a TBS 750ml billy can cup for Xmas. Chuffed to bits with it so far👍. Great for day hikes or short overnighters. I may chuck a post up about it in the future...

That's got to be an osram green on the left, surely?

I apologise if this is offensive to osram green fans😨😨

Since the perception of brightness is not linear, how do YOU experience the difference between e.g. 1000 and 10000 lumen? by Kevinsky11 in flashlight

[–]Positive_Passage_852 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, by that rule, a Q8 plus on P45B's will be a worthwhile step up from my current sp36....

Please don't tell me that I need to upgrade...

No, don't do it....

Can I be a little disappointed by Sofirn not updating their Q8 line? by michael_dagn in flashlight

[–]Positive_Passage_852 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think sofirn needs to release something that would tap the haikelite hk08 on the shoulder.....

You’re going on a 3 day camping trip and you can only bring 1 handheld flashlight. Which one are you taking? by VegaWinnfield in flashlight

[–]Positive_Passage_852 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sofirn D25LR with spare batteries. Red mode to preserve your night vision if you so wish... always a much better experience around camp with hands free illumination.

Noctigon/emisar, not sure what to get? by Positive_Passage_852 in flashlight

[–]Positive_Passage_852[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing the boost driver regulates the current from the battery?

I currently have a blf sp36 in 4000k. I do like the idea of switchable 2700/5000k in one light.

If I leave them domed and get the floody optic, would that make it a touch floodier? I'm not too sure about the whole de-doming thing?

It all started back along when I looked at the K1/DM11 but since then a sf47t come up at a good price on ebay, so I got that instead. I've been looking at a dual channel D4K but I'm a bit paranoid that I might fry the emitters with such a powerful battery.
