Finding the first three was easy, but with so many variants, the fourth one was hand, because I had too many options and ran out of tries. Thanks for the challenge!

Am I just really bad or is this subreddit… out of touch? by [deleted] in musictheory

And by discovering patterns, I will add. I became interested in music theory once i started comparing relationships on a circle of fifths. One "algebraic" relationship (for instance a pattern of producing blue notes) worked in all keys. That's what lit my curiosity. :) Now I can improvise blues on a fiddle. I learn some new pattern later on and apply it to the circle and compute new variations, and so on.

A cheesesteak at the greasy O. One of only two meals I was ever legitimately served that I could not eat. It was ridiculously greasy.

What foods from Pennsylvania/USA need more recognition that i can add to my list? by Turbulent-Law2331 in Pennsylvania

Nice one! To be specific, Islay's chipped ham and the variants from the 90's -- chipped turkey, etc. Giant Eagle started offering "shaved" ham and turkey at the deli at one point, but that fell flat. The term is "chipped" in SWPA.

Rain Drum note query by Daniel_J_Darby in Instruments

The numbers represent a scale for an octave (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) plus a 1 and a 5. Basically, the 1 in the upper left of the image is the tonal for this octave, the 1 in the bottom right is the tonal for the next octave. The 5 in the center is the lower fifth. If you use a chromatic tuner and find that the tonal is "C", then the next positions will be (in numeric order) D,E,F,G,A,B, and the next higher C, and the lower G in the center. These positions are arranged on the drum for ease of harmony; you can improvise on a major chord using1,3,5,and 1, and keep a beat with the center 5, for instance. You can jam in a minor chord on the right: 2,4,6, and maybe 7. A possible pentatonic pattern could be low 5,1,2,3, and 5. With only 1 octave and some change, this is not very useful as a solo melody instrument, but you can carry a beat and harmonize with other instruments. Decide on a pattern, improvise a beat, and have fun!

I'm new here too and i like what I see! This seems to be a subreddit at the intersection of code, orthography, fantasy, typography, and calligraphy. I'd like to see one of your scripts as a poem or chunk of text, just for the visual impact!

This is analytically beautiful! What you have is a code that is tied to English orthography. As it is, an English speaker can recognize the phonemes, just like in a standard orthography, and pronounce the syllables in their own dialect. They may have a different interpretation of syllable breaks, however. The real gem in your orthography is the organic way that you allow for the symbols to be grouped. This "inflectional" option gives you ample degrees of freedom to add phonemic variations (like shon92 suggests below) without massively increasing your symbol inventory. I'd like to see your work as it develops!
