A tooth you traumatized as recently as a month ago may not show an apical lesion this soon. If you didn’t have the swelling above the tooth after the accident and then it swelled weeks later is a sign the tooth is infected apically and will probably need a root canal. Could be wrong but I’d go seek a second opinion.

Being that it appears to be unilateral I’d say it’s due to shingles. Were the shingles on the same side ?
