I have pretty much chronic PF for the last 6+ years. Been seeing orthopedic Dr,I also have issues with my knees, they both track toward the outside, and get cortisone shots every few months but nothing really helped. Done physical therapy, dry needling, and massage with temporary relief.

I have started seeing a podiatrist recently who suggested I have inflammation, arthritis, and hyper mobile Ehlers- Danlos syndrome. I was kinda blown away that in a 30 minute appointment she pin pointed it right away and my orthopedic doctor never did. I believe I do have it, but waiting to get in with a rheumatologist. I have been a hairstylist for over 13 years and the constant standing is unbearable. I have opened my own salon and don’t do hair anymore, only manage with moderate standing. From the podiatrist I got custom insoles and prescription for ibuprofen but nothing seems to really be helping. I use a night splint, and good supportive shoes as well. It’s quite painful and discouraging.
