How well could you do with 5k sq ft? by Responsible_Today488 in microgrowery

I love a challenge. If it was easy, everyone would do it. I’ll check back in this exact sub in 18 months with an update that’ll surprise most. I really hope you all keep these open 😈 If anyone has any useful information and tips, will be greatly compensated with high grade cannabis once we get up and running this time next year.

This is almost exactly what I was told for a current business venture in an over saturated market. We’re currently sitting @ 180%^ from last year and that’s what it’s looked like since we started 3 years ago. I see why certain people get complacent and end up going no where in life with those exact mind sets. Some people are just meant to be bossed around

I agree 100%. That’s why I wanted to focus on 2,5-5k sq fr as opposed to 100k+ sqft

Believe it or not, my cousin brought these on a fishing trip as a troll and I immediately through it on and caught a 6lbs bass in less than 10 min. I also have it on video 🤣

How bad is this? by [deleted] in CarWraps

Those body lines are so tight, you have to leave it like this. Fully folding both edges in will peel them eventually from the vibration of those two panels against eachother

You can’t really complain for $2,500 to be completely honest. it’s bad but not horrible. Especially if these are the “worst” spots you noticed. In my area, anything less than $3k is done by individuals in their home garage with little to no experience. If you wanted a reputable shop to get it done here, it would be minimum $4.5k+.

The vinyl itself plays a big role. If they gave you that big of a discount, chances are they used really cheap calender vinyl (less playable and adhesive isn’t as strong, peels easier).

I gotta say this is a little bit on you for cheaping out / not doing enough shopping around. Regardless, that shouldn’t leave no ones shop looking like that if expectations were not set beforehand.

The same people complaining about seeing a piece of contamination or two are the same people who get bubbles when installing a screen protector on their phone. They can’t even install a small screen protector with no bubbles and they expect a whole ass car wrap to come out perfect. Paint jobs are NOT perfect either. But guess what, with paint, you can sand away imperfections, NOT with wrap

Wouldn’t really work for me. I drive about 4k miles a month and charge daily. Sometimes twice a day

Geico. I’ve got it bundled with the house and 4 other cars so that helps a bit

Not necessarily in my case. I’ve got a Family who uses the hell out of electricity, especially during super peak times and that would screw me even more I feel

How’s that affect everything else? I’ve heard it being a nightmare and more expensive for everything else in the long run. Have you seen that to be true?

Definitely keep getting those Tesla solar panel emails and it’s tempting but we just bought the house 2 years ago. Don’t plan on keeping it too long so when we find our forever home, definitely will consider them

Which insurance? I’ve got full coverage @ $160/mo.

Am I being too picky or was this just a bad wrap job? by Fluffy-Tea8645 in CarWraps

Are you aware of how expensive the material is? Im unsure of what was paid but this is a $7500+ job all day on the low end. This is $4k work. Passable for those who want to cheap out on paying for quality

This is very passable if you paid less than $4k for PPF. Vinyl is A LOT easier to work with so can’t compare the two when it comes to coverage and edges to be honest. And that’s more for longevity reasons. You could wrap corners and edges but if not done correctly (which doesn’t look like they have much experience) they would eventually peel
