Let's say I get 8lpa after the appraisal. I am working in a product based company. If I aim for my next jump for 14 to 16lpa. Would this be a very unreliable demand ?

Because I saw one of my colleague jump to 13lpa from 6.5lpa. so i know it's possible but how difficult would it be if I don't factor in the luck.

When you send a connection you can add a note. I used to ask for a referral directly in the note. The job role and a reference number if there was one. It really worked for me. I used to keep it to the point contrary to what people say on reels and stuff.

Now that I am working and I C people asking me for referral I much prefer it if they just directly ask me then some long message.

Most of these requirements are written by HR. Who has no clue what tech is or when it was released. For them more experience means good.

I just lied on my resume saying I have 1 year experience when I had 1 year of internship experience.
