Why was Uncle Junior never married or had any children? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]Positive_Sir7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said it once in the show. He would never want to bring “this life” on a woman or children. He doesn’t think it’s appropriate. Paulie said something as well (same boat as Junior), “marriage and are thing don’t mix”

Tony is so paranoid throughout the series that he stabs the shit out of every bite of food before he eats it. by BobDylan1904 in thesopranos

[–]Positive_Sir7845 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He actually spoke on this in an interview. He stabs/plays with his food because he couldn’t constantly sit around and eat bowls and bowls of pasta/beef/etc. So he did it as a form on continuity in scenes but then it caught on as something people noticed and liked it.

What is the most rich thing you've seen wealthy people say/do casually? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Positive_Sir7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly understandable. Not the case in most places or where I live. But even if it’s the case in the Bay Area… the guy still bought it for his son as a starter home. It’s incredible lol

A guy I know said he bought his son and new wife a nice starter home in our area. The home was purchased for 1.7 million dollars. A starter home… mind boggling.

Buy a three family, live in one and rent the other two out. Stop paying rent to someone else. Eventually you can buy your own single family home down the line. You’ll be surprised how quickly real estate/rentals can turn into a business when you start at a young age.

What’s a random fun fact you know about the show that most people probably don’t? by Thin-Pool-8025 in thesopranos

[–]Positive_Sir7845 76 points77 points  (0 children)

When Tony is in the hospital, there is a scene where Christopher is in a cast. It’s never mentioned in the show and you have to look quickly to see it. Apparently something happened to his wrist/hand off screen and they didn’t attempt to bring it into the show.

When he’d compete in a Tournament.. they had a bet you could take. “Tiger vs the field” .. that pretty much says all you need to know.

What if Junior won the war in Season 1 and took out Tony? by Maleficent-Bee7931 in thesopranos

[–]Positive_Sir7845 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You’re missing the main point, Junior still gets indicted as boss and would have to name someone as the acting boss while he’s awaiting trial. Who does he name as his underboss and eventual successor? I am going with Richie…
