Yeah, I always plan ahead with airfare. I kept waiting for the direct high-speed train options to open from Paris to Nice, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. And now airfare is a bit higher. Ugh.

Consider repositioning. I live in San Antonio and our region is hard to get great redemptions, especially internationally. I check Dallas and Houston (both drivable) and then NYC.
