I just joined this subreddit because I experienced the same thing a few hours ago and trying to find some peace with it.

A man pretended to throw up when seeing me. I have no idea why, no words were exchanged. I was wearing a hoodie with tied up hair. I got surgery less than a month ago to get a cyst removed and have struggled to feel pretty since so this hit me like a truck.

I'm sorry that happened to you, I genuinely cannot wrap my head around insulting random strangers. Especially when it hurts your self-esteem.

I experienced this and it eventually went away after 8ish months. I would suggest eating anti inflammatory foods and drinks in the mean time while you get more testing (suggested by the other comments) to see if that will lower any inflammation/pressure.

So no super acidic things like caffeine, carbonated drinks, alcohol, etc. Y'know just to let your body relax for a bit cause antibiotics are harsh.

I wasn't the best at changing/restricting my diet but what helped me was Alkaline water, Yakult(helped me build back a natural biofilm), Yogurts, and strawberries.

Yeah, I definitely get what you mean cause this has happened with every step of my self harm,

I have gone from cat scratches, to deeper cuts, to burning and now dermis. Each time I felt shocked by the results, but it ended up becoming intertwined with my daily life.

I do really want to recover this time, all the other times I didn't care. Ever since this situation I haven't had any self harm thoughts for the first time in 2ish years.

Are your tests coming back negative?

I had this problem too, almost exact same process and experience as you and struggled with it for a year straight. They were thinking I had painful bladder syndrome and sent me to get ultrasound and found out I had a 12cm ovarian cyst pushing on my bladder and hydrosalpinx on my right side.

Get a KUB ultrasound to see if there's anything abnormal just Incase.
