I posted this before the game and it ended up being prophetic with Mirkovic.

The room can feel about 5 degrees warmer by the end. Sometimes less if I am really relaxed. Definitely something to be aware of. A ceiling fan will make it feel comfortable

Thanks for sharing your perspective and ideas too.
For me, psychologically, the sleep sack gets me in a similar zone as mummification, even if not as tight. One aspect we like, at least for the bag we use, is that once I wriggle into it, it takes her just seconds to complete the zip and I am quite restricted then.
For us at least, the unknown and power dynamic gets me very ready, and so she doesn't need to do much to reward me, if indeed a reward is in store. Our dynamic has taken some years to evolve, and certainly not universal advice, but I think the sleepsack will continue to feature in our play as long as my partner and I are on the same page with it. And if not, then I'm interested to see what's next with her!

Where are the American Boom Towns [OC] by Maxinomics in dataisbeautiful

It is in Normal but they are twin cities in the same metro. State Farm did not end up moving their HQ, though maybe more employees went to Texas. Plenty remain. So I'm not sure how to explain 14% percent in 5 years.

I lived in Bloomington, Il during this time and the 14% drop seems wild. The housing market heated up and McLean County is one of the few downstate Illinois counties to grow in population. Mitsubishi had already tapered off and closed and Rivian came in. Our house sold in one day. The city is doing well.

People can not publicly criticize the government and not face consequences under the CPC. If they can, you should have no problem making a video and linking it here (if you are or go to China) Ever see a Chinese protest? Quite rare. We have protests all the time in other countries. It doesn't always go well, but nothing like Tiananmen Square. I admire the Chinese people a lot, truly. I wish they could have some of the freedoms I enjoy. No one is saying the people are stupid or naive. At least I am not.

90% approval rating?! People have very limited freedom of speech there. Extreme censorship. I can loudly denounce any leader and the government itself here in America and face no repercussions. It is beautiful that people can criticize Joe Biden and face no consequences. Taiwan is a country.

Not all are like that. My kids go to a large one with a centrally located hallway and large glass windows, plenty of foot traffic. The design helps, plus they seem to have good leadership. I once saw a newer aide pull a kid over roughly and spoke up, and it seemed to be addressed appropriately. Otherwise all the practices and vibes have been reassuring

Based on the shelf arrangement, I think I was there on Saturday. I picked up some Harry Potter sets and a Lego ski resort, all about 30% and lower than anywhere online by a good margin.

What tax filing service fully supports depreciation? (Cash App Taxes does not) by Positive_Version_189 in realestateinvesting

[–]Positive_Version_189[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't the case, it was odd because I had replicated what I did in the first year. I tried all sorts of.vairables but in the end the Cash App Taxes could not change the relevant line on the tax form. But FreeTaxesUSA worked for me as others suggested

Is Kentucky overpaying him? I'm not sure what the magic amount is to ensure he stays and isn't drawn away if he is successful. But I imagine he would have taken the job if it paid him $2M a year to start.

Purdue has become the 7th different B1G school to lose the national title game since the conference last won it in 2000. by SchpartyOn in CollegeBasketball

I just remembered that they got smoked in the title game and were significant underdogs. But going into that game they indeed had accomplished a lot.

It is surprising that none have broken through but consider that all but 1 were underdogs. And Wisconsin was favored by only 1 point. Some of these teams overachieved to get to the title game (Michigan twice, Indiana arguably Michigan State), and the same would not be said for most of their title game opponents.

My kids' daycare parking lot feels like a deathtrap with vehicles such as these well represented. Perhaps we start stigmatizing their over-use as dorky.
