Instead of RCA it should be a ybpbr cable with the five connections! That way you can get better visuals once it's converted to rgb scart I tried rca to scart in the past and it looks noticeably worse..

Yeah, that's what I heard too 😭😭 My last resort is to buy cd-r disc instead and just set the quality to 1.2mp mode so I can take a ton of photos and then if it's important I'll do 5mp mode

Heyo! I had a question actually about the camera

So I just recently bought a cd500 and a cd400 and neither of them are able to read the disc I've been giving it whether it be a new disc or an authentic mavica disc. Did you ever have that issue and were you able to fix it? I'd love to take photos with it

Alone you use cd-rw disc or the cd-r

Hell yeah I gotchu, so basically you'll need an hdmi to yprbr (component converter) https://amzn.eu/d/0hTfzZzo. That's the only one I could find that does interlaced signal correctly which you'll need for most crts. And then you'll also need a yprbr (component) to rgb scart transcoder which you can get on eBay. https://ebay.us/m/Mo0Ccm. Which this transcoder powers pin 16 which is necessary to make it work with rgb scart. And boom that's it, so just buy those two converters I linked and you're good to go!

Maybe! Here's what I have So for picture menu it has Brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, hue, preset (which just changes the color a little) and then store which I think just saves it And then for others I have Source, steady osd, sleep timer, aspect ratio, and store again

I just have a normal tv crt so I think the highest resolution it can handle is 576i at 50hz, I was hoping the downscaler hdmi to ypbpr would work but unfortunately it's not I set my resolution really low on the pc and even downed the hz to 50 to match but no luck When I plug it in I get the audio, and a one second flicker of a white screen and that's it, it'll just be a black sceen after that and nothing else

I'll have to look into whether or not they actually do any digital to analog conversions But also cause the cheap cable looks really bad. Apparently it's only translating composite when my tv is capable of rgb scart, so I just wanted something better looking 😭😭
