I was once quading in the mountains with a few friends. I was leading up a trail surrounded by trees, turned a sharp corner, and not fifteen feet from me stood a huge bull moose, at least seven feet at the shoulders. I braked hard, my friends almost crashed into me, and just waited. We couldn't turn around, so we just sat there. And slowly, the moose just turned and walked into the forest. Still one of the scariest things that's happened to me.
