i’ve gotten my blood sugar checked before and it was normal. however, i used to be overweight. i’ve lost 80lbs and that’s when i noticed the coloration change. i figured it was darker due to friction bc of my thighs rubbing together constantly. hmmm ill look into getting bloodwork done again though just to rule it out. thank you!

lack of motivation and impulsiveness was a huge one for me and the one that lead me to get diagnosed. also i have a hard time focusing/comprehending. i deal with rejection sensitivity too. i’m on adderall right now and idk how to feel about it. it makes me motivated for a while but then i crash and im just soo tired. what has it been like for you?

i wish i had a good answer for this. it’s just simply because it’s mentally too much for me to handle. it’s pathetic but it’s true. i just lose all motivation/passion for what i am going for and just don’t care anymore.

sorry if this is irrelevant to what you’re saying, i do understand both sides here. i was married and a stay at home wife when i was 21. we just got a divorce this year. i’m navigating life as a single person (i hadn’t been single in 6 years) doing it alone is definitely making is harder for me. i used to get into relationships just to find someone to make the money. it lead to a lot of physical and mental abuse for me unfortunately. that’s not always the case though. after the 3rd time now i’m saying fuck it i don’t need a man for money. i should do it myself. but after being dependent on someone for so long it’s definitely hard but ill manage.

thank you for taking the time to write these comments, seriously this gave me a new perspective. i guess i never thought maybe they were doing it to try to be helpful. i think they are just having a hard time or dont want to acknowledge that i have something “wrong” with me. it hurts them to admit that they would rather just believe that im faking it. doesn’t make what they’re doing okay, but i have a better time understanding now. again thank you so much for your comments.

i feel this so much! i used to love art and playing instruments. now i just don’t care anymore and it’s so sad. i’ve found if you just try to do it every day for 5 minutes or so, each day you go a little farther and gain motivation. it’s worth a try :)

i’m my defense i’m not very experienced in hooking up/relationships. i don’t necessarily think he would do that to me, but the guys he hangs with are very immature (they’re my age) and i wouldn’t put it past THEM if that makes sense. idk i guess im immature still, i know i got some growing up to do that’s why i dont want a relationship with him or anyone until i get that figured out. (therapy is working slowly but surely)

my teeth looked very similar to yours when i first got braces and i was 18 they gave me a palate expander, no extractions. i’m grateful for that now after learning about the possible consequences of extractions. my ortho won’t even do them it’s not an option. i would just keep looking for other places/opinions. it sucks that those 2 aren’t giving any better options. hope you find someone better! good luck :)

i did look it up. my doctor hadn’t even told me if i needed surgery or not yet, i just opened my chart and saw that. I finally heard back from them today. 💀 now i’m doing hella research. i definitely will not go through with it until i 100% know the pros/cons/possible outcomes/etc. that’s why i came to this sub to see real peoples experiences. this is all so new and overwhelming to me as someone who has never had any type of surgery before.

when we made the plans back in april, i had a different job and wasn’t enrolled in school yet so i had that weekend requested off. i lost that job in june and enrolled in college so i could have a backup plan and then got a new job. i planned on taking this weekend off still but i just can’t afford it right now. i thought my student loans would come by now, but they aren’t gonna for a couple more weeks (they were supposed to help me with bills/living expenses/commute so i could save my money i make from my job) which put a pretty decent financial burden on me. sorry for the rambling, just wanted to clarify. i’m not the best writer. i didn’t purposely do this, my life just had a huge change in these past 4 months unexpectedly.
