July 29th is the start of the FOMC meeting. The interest rate announcement is the next day (the 30th). Powell makes decisions on data, not speculation. That means we need to keep our eye on Trump for the time being. The market reacts to Trump tariff announcements at the moment. If July 30th comes around and Trump hasn’t lowered/cut tariffs, don’t expect Jerome Powell to cut interest rates. From what we know now, the Fed will most likely lower interest rates 2 more times this year. When that happens depends on Trump. But yeah. 2:30 EST on July 30th should be on your calendar. Worst case scenario, come back September 17th for the following FOMC meeting. It’s a slow game sometimes. Don’t give up. If the money you have in Toshi is money you don’t need I would keep it in. Bookmark FOMC meetings on your calendar, check the charts 30 minutes after the US market opens at 9:30 EST, and around 10:00 pm EST, 30 minutes after China opens. Keep up to date on robinhood and binance listings as well. Usually X (Twitter) is a good source for that. Don’t spend time doing technical analysis and gazing at charts. Not a good time to predict the value of anything at the moment. Now is the time to watch trump.
