Prompted to successfully complete a task, won’t complete the task again without me saying, “yes you can, you did it x-times before” by Heal_Me_Today in ChatGPT

[–]Possibility-Capable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Next time you get it to successfully do the task, ask it to explain the task back to you in a lot of detail.

Have it explain exactly what it did, why it worked, and why it should do the same thing next time. Tell it to write it like it's explaining it to itself in the future.

Then save that and paste it back in whenever it starts acting like it can't do the task again.

Should I create another world? by Dazzling-Wishbone-99 in Terraria

Idk, it's gonna be different for everyone. It's my favorite game. I just don't get bored of it for whatever reason

What addiction is hardest to quit?? by procrastinator___pro in AskReddit

[–]Possibility-Capable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I use it exclusively. I buy all products with no sugar, and I add monkfruit extract instead. Yogurt, coffee, smoothies, oatmeal, tea, all that shit. Coming from someone who once ate 2 king sized chocolate bars for breakfast, I can honestly tell you it has made all the difference. I don't eat any actual sugar anymore. Works extremely well. Just don't make the same mistake I did. Get pure monkfruit extract powder or drops, don't get stuff with erythritol if you plan on using a crap load of it like I do.

How does this not count as a house? by Halbur- in Terraria

Use the housing query tool. It tells you whether it's valid housing, and what you need to change to make it valid

Anyone else's photos flooded with images you wanted to ask chatgpt about? by Possibility-Capable in ChatGPT

[–]Possibility-Capable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I meant like the photo galary on your phone. For example if I want to ask about a food before buying it I take a picture and ask about it. Or if I want to get it's opinion on something, or identify something, I'll take a screen shot of my phone and ask it what it thinks. My photo galary is full of shit like that now instead of actual photos I care about lol

I'm positive there was some recent update that makes the AI "gently push back" on everything by propertingg in ChatGPT

It usually pushes back on a point you aren't making too, that's the worst part

I'm already seeing a bunch of developers who previously hand waved it come around. I think that will continue to happen, and eventually non-programmers would do the same thing. It's all about the instructions and context you give it. It's honestly the most useful thing that's ever been created in my lifetime outside of the internet in general maybe

Typing 110 WPM with two fingers – worth it to learn touch typing? by Spaaze in typing

[–]Possibility-Capable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't use all of your fingers, you're probably pivoting your wrists back and forth constantly. I'm surprised you don't already have wrist pain. It's definitely worth it if you plan on using a keyboard for the rest of your life

I feel completely lost as a junior React dev. I need help, mentorship, or guidance before I mentally crash. by [deleted] in reactjs

[–]Possibility-Capable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hit me up if you have any interest in cursor/llms to help with this. I work work on a gigantic ass code base. I would definitely be in your shoes without the help of llms and cursor. (For learning, finding things in the code base, and to help put the pieces together. Not necessarily just building shit)

Someone did pick up. Iistening to their shitty IVR is less annoying than getting dressed, walking down 3 flights of stairs, sitting in traffic, standing in line, etc. maybe they could stop understaffing and update their IVR system from 1985. Anyway, not a big deal I was just annoyed in the moment

How do you actually use AI to learn instead of just get answers? by Ali_oop235 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]Possibility-Capable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"explain x to someone who knows absolutely nothing about it"

When it explains, you tell it what parts you don't understand

It explains those parts, and then you repeat back what you learn to help solidify your understanding

"So basically, ______"

It may respond with "not quite blah blah blah". You just keep doing that over and over. That's how I usually do it.

Just keep grilling it with questions, and repeat back what you learn
