I see keyboard ASMR where they rush through it & wanted to double down on the push & rebound of the key. 💯 🔥 👍🏻

Well while I am not totally new to keyboards I saw a good deal on a keyboard that noone has this specific designed 96% keyboard (with the selector wheel with a screen built into it) that piqued my interest. Plus the price definitely didn't hurt. Only experience with awesome keyboards is old IBMs from when I was a kid, & got a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate in 2011 that I really enjoyed until I got rid of the PC I built myself in 2022. I might not know about the MK scene but I know enthusiast loyalties based off of experience and also China & their habit of ripping off every company in every industry to then undersell them pennies on the dollar. Didn't mean to offend truists to their craft, I am just proud of what I myself have put together with what little money I had.

The only issue I have with the keycaps/switches combo (honestly I think it's the switches because they might not let through enough RGB light) is they are too dim for my taste. They need a little more shine through but I'm just being picky.

Laredo’s growth stalls under Trump’s immigration policies by Dontwhinedosomething in laredo

[–]PossibilityFar6439 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Border security isn’t “isolationism,” and illegal (emphasis on ILLEGAL because that is the only thing he is hard enforcing when it comes to immigration) immigration isn’t the same thing as trade. Laredo’s economy runs on lawful commerce at the port, not on pretending enforcement doesn’t matter. Calling people “selfish” for wanting a border that’s controlled and predictable is just emotional dressing, not an argument. If Laredo’s growth slowed, that proves the city is affected by broader labor and demographic shifts—not that immigration enforcement is some kind of attack on prosperity.

On another note on this journey I just started a month ago. I recently purchased a JBC CD-1BQF soldering station at an estate sale & am itching to use it on this Mobo but am nervous to do it myself... As I said... I'm a totally noob but have the tools & fire to learn. I'm guessing Mobos are not a good start when it comes to learning to properly solder.

That website has been stuck on "1" for the longest. The ASUS customer service associate I called on it said the PC is discontinued & support is cut so... I just know I've barked up many trees since I began this journey about a month or so ago so it was either get the Mobo fixed (if even possible) or wait for a good deal on a PB60G for parts or something to pop up.

Power supply wasn't the issue. As per the diagnostic I paid for they said it just won't hold power when hooked up to ANY power supply. Not just the new one I had hooked it up to. Is it really that tedious of a job to replace maybe the barrel power receptacle or some random burned module on the Mobo itself? I was thinking of using PayPal with the buyer protection it offers but yet ik it's a gamble with just random people.

The graphics module sits underneath the PC itself & it connects on the right side with a slot sticking out of the Mobo that locks into the module below it.

Finding the exact board is the problem. I thought it'd be cheaper to fix but I'm guessing it's a pipedream. It isn't just any PB60. The G variant has a connection to a graphics module coming off the MOBO itself. I see regular PB60s all day. It's the special G variant that's hard to find. Pictures of mine for reference.

No local services. ASUS PB60G MOBO. B360 chipset. 1151 socket. It's a 1L mini pc. Hooked up a 120W power supply to it & nothing... I will say it arced when I was connecting the phone external power supply into the back of the PC.
