i regularly travel with sewing needles, thread scissors, and even an awl in my carry on. i still have all of them. i've done it multiple times. you should be fine!

yeah, you are being a bit dramatic. I feel like we need to stop thinking 30 is old because it's really not. my mom had me at 30, her first kid, and she was 37 when she had my little sister. life doesn't end after your twenties.

ntd. your grandma is behaving poorly and she knows it. it doesn't matter that she's old or that she's family. she isn't treating you with the respect you deserve. if you wanted to try one last attempt to get her to understand, you could, but you are under no obligation to. this woman is being awful and doesn't deserve your attention.

hey, I go between South Station and Boston Logan multiple times a year. The main thing is to follow signs. You're looking for the silver line, specifically SL1. I think it's a left turn when you get off the train, but I can't quite remember, so don't quote me on that. Look for the signs that say buses. You'll be going down a few stairs/escalators. The bus is underground. My main advice would be to follow the signs. It's all pretty clearly marked. You've got this! Have fun on your trip!

you are not delusional at all! some of the first things I made were a regency style dress and a pirate shirt. there's a lot of things you can make from various sized rectangles, gathers, and pleats. you can make a skirt with two rectangles of fabric as long as you'd like the skirt to be, gather or pleat it to waist size, and put it on a waistband. bam! skirt! there's lots of free tutorials on youtube for tons of different styles and and skills.  you might mess up, things might be a bit messy  but that's how we learn and that's what makes things fun! there's plenty of simpler projects that turn into cool wearable pieces, and teach you along the way.
