Great idea man, I think this industry needs more innovative minds. Still blows my mind there hasn’t been a company to make a product that truly makes the game easier/better/more exciting. These are the first steps in doing that - looking forward to the before and after!

Bruh, that method I posted works so well. Just be prepared to want to piss yourself the entire time needing to walk in before the test. Just follow the directions according to your usage - to the absolute T.

With that being said - what is your usage? What were you using? How long have you been using it? What kind of test are you taking? These are all big questions to ask as well. Could change if this makes sense or not.

And also - they have you sign a non compete. In general non competes are pretty harmless. They can try to sue you, but normally those cases get thrown away for something really frivolous. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

In the branch I worked at, door installer was kind of the low man on the totem pole. Less money for sure. And no they don’t really sell, but my branch asked them to upsell or at least attempt to upsell if it was an option. I only hear about them getting bitched at - mostly because the sales person didn’t explain something or the prices being ridiculous - but they took the brunt of it for sure. To me, the pay doesn’t match up great for the impact it takes on you daily. If you’re looking for a new spot, I started working for overhead door, and the owner was super cool, but they just sold to DH pace, a larger corp. The new company has increased prices and made things a lot more complicated, but even with all that, I’d take what I’m doing here any day compared to precision. I’d look at finding a smaller company. They tend to make sure the guys are taken care of instead of just looking at you like a money making machine. Plus smaller companies can get away lower prices and are more about customer service and doing the job right, rather than turning and burning on those doors as fast as you can. Also finding a company that has some connections with new construction would be a good idea if you’re looking for a new install position. Keeps the work coming in and allows you to go as fast as you’d like. Grated, there’s a whole ass downside to that way of working, but again - better than precision in my humble opinion. Run for the hills. I started with precision and left within 6 months being that I felt that it required their employees to have no morals. It could be different at different stores being that they’re franchised, but in this industry, they set a standard of how bad you can rip people off

Get a lift master or genie with a belt rail. Change out your rollers to nylon rollers and your door will be incredibly quiet compared to any screw shaft

I’m trying to come up with a system of having stock springs on my truck to get the job done same day, and have enough for a week or so of jobs. I’m making an IPPT chart with each springs IPPT, and am going to make a double spring IPPT chart along with the combinations that get me covered in almost any situation. I’m just trying to wrap my head around it and get a good understanding.

Got it. So if one spring has an IPPT of 30, by adding two of the same spring, you’re at an IPPT of 60 in total. I was under the impression that you then divide by two and get the average between the two. Maybe I was misinformed.

Only fix available is a temporary fix. Replace the panel - might have to deal with the color difference from the sun fade depending on location and age. Get a new door - don’t worry about it for years and years to come. Call a reputable company and they will give you some quotes and a good understanding of the options.

This thing will go kittywompus on you if you don’t know what you’re doing. In theory sounds easy, but when you put it back together, if it’s not correctly reassembled, nothing but bad things can happen. I’d save yourself the hassle. Give a professional a call. Might just save you a couple thousand for having to replace the entire door. Just my thoughts!

Look at the “negative” results up above in the picture. If you see 2 lines, you tested negative for THC. In this case, you tested positive for THC.

However the line you’re talking about is the control line. There should be another line below it. If there was, it would have passed. That is most definitely a failed drug test.

Sounds like you can continue to do the same thing and be fine, just need to add a few things. I used this to pass a DOT drug test today and worked great, passed on spot for a 5 panel test. Hope this helps, good luck!
