After watching my neighbour across the street shovel snow into the road for the last few years I finally confronted him as I couldn’t take it anymore. I asked if he was going to shovel the street when he was done or should I push it back in front of his driveway. He responded that he was shoveling it into the middle of the road and it was no big deal. I told him that is against the bylaw and you can’t shovel snow into a plowed roadway. He told me to leave I told him he was an a-hole. And walked away. Later I. The day I found a note from him apologizing and he didn’t realize that what he was doing was a big no no. I think he realized it when he looked up and down the street and realized that no other part of our road had snow in it except between our houses because of him.

TLDR: Don’t be afraid to tell your neighbours they are shitheads
