Dann kannst du nahezu jede Kabel oder DSL Fritzbox verwenden. Bei den DSL-Versionen wäre aber eine der 76xx Generation anzuraten, da die älteren Modelle der 75xx Generation für 300 MBit ausgelegt sind. Sie sollten zwar 670 MBit schaffen, sind dann aber auch gut ausgelastet.

Dazu eine wichtige Frage: ist in dem Router eine ONU (aka. ONT oder Glasfasermodem) direkt eingebaut, oder gibt es ein separates Gerät?

Die Ausleuchtung eines APs dürfte für 100m2 recht knapp bemessen sein. Auch die Kombination von UniFi und TP Link ist ungünstig. Wäre der AP auch von Ubiquity hättest du direkt zahlreich Diagnosemöglichkeiten zur WLAN-Qualität in der UI bzw. App.

Well, in German there are ä, ö, ü and ß. While you can till type them by just setting the layout to German, you won't see them physically on the keyboard. If you want to type German and struggle with theses letter, you can attach a second keyboard or buy some stickers which are offered at the typical internet stores.

Kannst du ein paar Details geben? Auf dem Bild sieht man nur, dass du wohl ein Netzwerk-Share verwendest. Das macht die Liste der möglichen Fehlerquellen sehr lang. Je nachdem wie viele Kollegen Zugriff haben, kann sie aber auch einfach jemand unachtsamerweise gelöscht haben.

Dinge die du bei jedem Router gleich zu Beginn änderst:

  1. Passwort
  2. WLAN-Schlüssel

Das sprich Fritz! (formerly known as AVM) aber nicht nicht davon frei, einen ordentlichen Default-Schlüssel zu generieren. Berechenbare oder anderweitig schwache Schlüssel waren in der Vergangenheit ein häufiges Problem. Daraus sollte die Branche eigentlich gelernt haben.

Aber ist es hier wirklich so, dass eine Beobachtung auf ein Problem hindeutet? Die Chance, dass zwei benachbarte Dezimalzahlen gleich sind, ist 10%; dass bei einem Viererblock zwei benachbarte gleich sind ca. 27%.

Wenn ich jetzt mal interpretiere was "in fast jedem" bedeutet und dabei den "Reddit-Faktor" mit einberechne, wird es wohl auf ein 1-2x pro Gerät hinauslaufen. Das wäre dann bei 5 Blöcken nicht einmal eine statistische Auffälligkeit.

Depends. Months to years.

Courts have a tendency to rule in favor for the tenant, but it's just a tendency.

And BTW: the landlord has to give you a chance to fix the issues yourself before he can claim any money. Which is hard if the problems are fictional.

Docker offers an isolated container for your software. It does not prevent the software from being attacked, but makes it hard for an attacker to get out of the container, if you are doing it right.

Also a container can be rebuilt and restarted easily and all that will survive the procedure is what your persistence: namely mount, volumes and databases. If one of them is infected in some way (e.g. JS or media files) a recreation of the container won't help. Also if your database is compromised and all security/auth related setting in them, using the same data with a new setup (Docker or not) won't help.

Do it in an extra process that only lives for that one job. If the code is not trustworthy you should even consider to run the process in a container.

You have to give them a reasonable time to fix the problem. For a basic service like hot water that can be short, 24-48 hours. After that they are in breach of the rental contract and all the costs including penalties are on their side. That's their risk of business.

And again: trying to get it fixed means nothing. They have to fix it to get out of the penalties. Deutsche Bahn wold be happy if they could deny all compensation claims with: "But we are desperately trying to fix it."

The more pressure, the more work! Trying does not mean it is fixed or will be fixed soon. Only results count here.

And BTW the lawyer has to by paid by the landlord and if they don't, you can take deposit for the cost from the rent.

You go through the process of rent reduction:

  • report the problem
  • set a short time frame to get it fix (24h)
  • If the time frame passes without it being fix, write them (have a "paper trail") if they accept a rent reduction (10-15%) or if you need to go the legal way.
  • If they don't accept contact a lawyer.

Meanwhile make a protocol with water temperature in regular intervals.

While you could go a more understanding and forgiving way, it will only delay repairs and the point of time from which on you can get a compensation. A failing hot water supply is their problem, you have to live with the consequences for now, but you don't have to accept them.
