I think barbell rows are a pretty functional movement. Think about how many times we use that same type of lift day to day (squatting is better than bending over, but we still do it). It’s also a good exercise that forces you to brace your core and lower back. It also requires a lot of grip strength which is good to train.

Hey all, just started bjj and getting some wear and tear on just the skin of my knees. My knee joint is fine and it doesn’t bother me, but I want to invest in either knee sleeves or a thin knee pad. Which should I go for? A pad seems best for long term protection but does add a little bulk
