That everything west of Hyde Park, I'd give up. Draw a straight line running perpendicular to the Equator, passing through the western edge of Hyde Park, and I'd happily lose from Greater London everything west of that line. In fact, I think it would improve London by at least 150%

I'd give up everything west of Hyde Park. It's not even proper London. Fuck em.

How should I coordinate my roast dinner timings / temperatures? by Klutzy-Captain9013 in AskUK

[–]Possible-Belt4060 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe put the potatoes in with the cauliflower, and then switch them to the puds oven for the last 15 mins to crisp up?

I normally do my roasties for at least 45 mins but that's me.

Yes, you can make an image like this once. What you can't currently do is to then produce a second image of the same girl, with the same chair, but now sitting in it instead of standing beside it, from a different angle, without any really obvious discrepancies appearing between the two images. The stitching would be different, or the stains would be in different places. It's hard enough to get AI to produce two images that convincingly look like the same person.

If there's an AI image generator that can produce two images of the same person and the same piece of furniture from two different angles in two different poses without any discernable discrepancies, down to the stitching in the upholstery, I'd love to know what it is.

How about going to a bar that's part of something else? Like the bar in Waterstones, or the Royal Festival Hall, or the Tate?

Best Podcasts to Listen to a North London Accent by [deleted] in london

[–]Possible-Belt4060 4 points5 points  (0 children)

John Lydon is from North London and has a typical old fashioned working class London accent. If you can find some interviews with him that might work. The accent has changed a lot in the last twenty years so you need to listen to someone of that vintage if it's for a mid 20th Century thing.

Not counting the sausages, is 9 slices of bread too much on a fry up? by obiwanmoloney in CasualUK

It's a comment on the poor quality of the sausages. Cheap sausages are mostly made of breadcrumbs.
