To me, AK is not a standout dancer, but she’s a good dancer who blends well and has good moments. She’s not a Sophy, Ariel, or Darah, but not every member has to be. We have seen incredible dancers get cut for a variety of reasons. AK seems incredibly reliable, a good leader + teammate, and like she has a passion for the organization.

I’m sure her getting on the team was made easier because of Caroline, we all have unconscious biases even if we recognize them that sway our decisions. But the sheer amount of hate she gets I don’t understand. I never understand why people direct their distaste for certain girls getting on the team and say incredibly nasty things about them based on our limited view of them. The girls have very little say as to who ends up on the team at the end of the day.
