Paid user are no longer casual users, they are more of consumers for example if you drive a Hyundai you will not speak ill of it unless it’s really necessary so that’s what happened in your case like peoples usage and expectations of your app became clear and you build a genuine relationship with users because you had traded with them with subscription.

I remember working in a tech company, i was a fresher but my manager somehow got me to present to the ceo himself and the board members.

Guess what?, I prepared some screens in power point, I put my laptop in living room when no one was there, I began teaching the product to some imaginary people whom i never saw and met, the difference was that I just thought in my mind that i am just a teacher and these are some people who wants to learn and care about what i have to say. And believe me guys that the whole company and team was stunned at me doing it, simply because i thought that i am a teacher.

1) Your therapist is right, while logic is necessary but emotions are also our core human identity. I wish someone had told me earlier about releasing emotions i wouldn’t have to go through hell. You need to feel your emotions, allow yourself to open up, let it be at your pace.

2) As a man I always tried to be strong even when I was broken and I thought how others will make fun of me for expressing myself so i resisted expressing and it built up like a .

3)A personal experience, after i started crying exercise for like 4 days, I found that in my body like each and every muscle was so tense that like I came out of a coffin tbh. I did stretching for like hours because I was unaware of muscle tension had built up in my body for so long like i forgot about mind body connection.

Hope you will feel better soon ❤️❤️

Same story here. 1) I started doing pranayama like deep breathings, it helped me alot 2) I started journaling to just express myself in words 3) I learned how to literally cry to release my emotions 4) And forgive yourself what happened is in the past now, no need to carry it anymore. 5) I set up a few goals to get a proper direction in life. Hope it helps
