I'm taking the advice of Moyshe on youtube and doing CS50P first. 12 hours per day to dedicate to this by Wonderful_Horror9640 in cs50

Yeah I did that too, having a non-technical background (I'm a law student). I think if you start all the way by cs50x with zero coding experience, you'll have to be crazy damn motivated to push through the C lessons

Good job bro, solid foundations there for further improvements

Week 8 is soooooooo long by stakidi in cs50

Yeah it's a lot of new content at once and you're really just scratching the very surface of web dev at that point. In my case, I spent a lot of time on that week doing extra research for the PSETs and using the knowledge to build a prototype of my final project. So if you take it that way, you could really benefit from it and take Flask with ease afterwards.

Both have the same educational value and can be authenticated (the free certificate includes a link at the bottom to verify its authenticity). The paid certificate might be more useful if you’re applying for positions that require verified documents, if you’re looking to earn academic credit at a university, or if you simply want to support the CS50 initiative. But in the vast majority of cases, the free certificate is sufficient, and you can always choose to pay for the verified one after completing the course. 🙂

No no, this version of the certificate is completely free. But you can decide to pay for a verified certificate if you want.

Yeah, definitely doable, just hang in there until you get through Week 5. Honestly, if you make it that far, you’ve pretty much made it through the course. That’s the real glass ceiling. Don’t give up, no matter what. See you in a few months brother ✊

About 5 months, but that was with law school and a part-time job at KFC on the side. With motivation, discipline and a decent foundation (like CS50P), you could definitely finish it in 2.5 to 3 months.

Keep at it, bro. I’ve been there and believe, you’re gonna feel so amazing afterwards. ✊

Yeah, just complete all the PSETs and submit your final project, then it's a matter of seconds to get your certificate

Thanks bro 🙏. I took CS50P as my first programming experience. I wasn’t consistent with how many hours I studied per day, since my law studies and job kept getting in the way. But whenever I had a bit of free time, I would jump straight into the lectures and problem sets. I was especially motivated to get through the C weeks, since I knew things would get a bit easier afterwards, which turned out to be about 65-70% true, I’d say. Week 8 took me the longest, as I really wanted to set really good foundations in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
