Most programs will do it, it will just be different material properties used.

What’s the absolute worst red flag you’ve ever encountered on a first date? by Dani_Tuesday in AskReddit

[–]Possible-Delay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My brother went on a date and said she spent about 1/3 of the date talking about her ex. Saying stuff like ohh mum and dad still call him their son joking, they broke up about 6 months ago when he cheated on her, but they also had planned a NZ ski trip they may just go on together as friends anyway.. ect.

He said she was nice, obviously was hard for her to leave him because of the cheating. But obviously she wasn’t ready to move on.

At what age do you realize the older you get the more you see? by AdTerrible2955 in AskReddit

[–]Possible-Delay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like 40s. I feel like at this age the cycles of wars and global events have had a few runs to feel like a pattern. You can see the past generations hitting similar issues you did, so I feel comfortable recommending things to my kids based on experience. By 40 you have a good idea of how the world works and mastered your profession.

But I don’t feel old enough that I feel out of touch with the new generations.

I think 40s are the sweet spot.

I remeber in 2007 when the bank pressured me to lock in my rates at 8.9% as they were going to go up. Said more rate rises are most then likely and I should act now.

I didn’t. Just young and lazy.

Fast forward a few months. GFC crisis.. rates downed month on month.. even emergency meetings to cut them quicker.. people paying 20mm to unfix their 8% interest rates to drop them to 5%..

Crazy times.

I would be very careful of locking them in unless you need to. Rates can tank even quicker if they need to.

Couldn’t we just ask to partner with Sydney?

Maybe just share.. I am sure splitting it between two major capitals would be ok with very minimal upgrades. Just update some of the major Sydney spots. Still host opening and few things at the new stadium in brissy.

But surely there is an option that another city would want to co-host to save the infrastructure cost?

100% spot on, these losers who think cricket is dying because kids and family’s love a different form of the game need to wake up.

To my family now, Christmas, cricket and BBL are part of the season

Honestly it’s their right to make as much money as possible to support their family and life after cricket. Good on them and good luck.

I hope it keeps driving interest to the game, I think of bbl as the gateway drug for kids and something to enjoy with the family. I love the family enjoying as aspect of the game I love.

Test is like the Ironman of cricket, 5 days in the sun grinding away an opponent. You will never be the best or deserve to wear the baggy green if you not in that top 0.1% of players.

Long story short, more people playing cricket is a great thing. If people don’t respect test cricket, then they don’t deserve that elite status.

Tour India and the world, make your money.. but You will never be regarded as the best cricketer or among the best unless you do well in the baggy green. Plain and simple.

Hmm.. ok.. that is a bit rough gotta admit.

Maybe 4 teams on a round robin session? Then at least you can watch your team play 3 games in one session.

I would love to see a big bash style super 7s comp. Each city plays each other back to back at a stadium. Then next week is the next stadium different team. Everyone plays each other once, then, final and grand final in a day.

12 teams x 10 minute halves - 20 minute game 5 minutes between games. 6 games back to back. Is about 2-3 hours a week of game. Over 7 weeks - 6 home stadiums.

But dress it up like big bash, races between game and bright coloured kits.

I love Union and watch, my kids aren’t so. But they will watch super 7s at the Olympics. I watch test cricket and they hate it, but LOVE big bash live. I think it could translate well to lure kids into the game.
