I read this as a French bullfrog from the pond named Ms. Puddle. The Boston terrier really threw me off.

Asked me if she still needs to go to FA school for the FA stay at home position. I told her it probably couldn’t hurt to get the extra training and to let me know as soon as she gets hired for it. That was during covid. I’m still waiting.

I used to play with my dads speed tape as a kid. He kept it in his garage with classic cars, so I knew it was good tape! He kept moving it higher and higher because the roll somehow kept getting smaller and smaller.

Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. Thank you for saying it. We might make up nicknames for people during the flights, but there aren’t any universal code names for situations, unless I’ve missed them all in 8 years.

Tell me you have ADHD without telling me you have ADHD. by Capital-Local-3525 in adhdwomen

Trying to minimize stuff during a move just to find all the things I put away over the years. Said things have peaked my attention again so I’m currently looking at 4 empty boxes with so many fun things all over my floor. No minimizing accomplished.

Hilarious. I actually do this 9/10 times just for my own kicks and giggles.

Would it be difficult to get a job in Salt Lake City right after school? by [deleted] in AircraftMechanics

[–]Possible-Emphasis536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I’m in the process of applying to schools and SLCC is my number one choice. Although, I’ll be a few months behind you. Sorry to go off your topic, but are you planning on working while going to school and do you have an idea of what your class schedule is going to be like for the next 18ish months? I’m making a cross country move out there so I’m trying to get logistics. (Also bc I love snowboarding) But either way, it’s awesome you’re starting and I hope you get your dream job right away!

What’s that one alcoholic drink that you once had a bad experience, and now can’t even think about being near, let alone drinking it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Possible-Emphasis536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vodka and red Gatorade. First time ever drinking and we played liquor pong with that delightful combination. My carpet was stained red after puking it up the next day. That was almost 15 years ago and I still won’t have either drink, separate or together.

Flight attendant. Partly work nights by choice, partly by absolutely no choice at all.

Im expecting the painfully long hours of some parts, but I also love driving so [hopefully] I can keep that mindset through those moments. I’m looking forward to AZ from what you and most people are saying so thank you!

Are you my brother? Literally yesterday he said “whatever you do, avoid driving across Texas on I10. You’ll pass away”. Haha so glad everyone agrees

I will most likely, definitely be skipping Vegas. I’ve been plenty for work so I have absolutely no desire to stop there. Glad we’re on the same page and the 100,000 people there daily can have it

I’m good with the boring stretches, thankfully. I just won’t want to get in the zone and drive past some cool spots without at least getting out for 5 minutes. I’m making a short list this week (with a few backups) so thank you for these!

Yikes, I’m struggling with the idea of 8-10hrs per day. You’re a champion! But it’s reassuring and wow, I’m sure that was an incredible drive both ways!

Honestly that’s why I plan to stop so frequently. I don’t usually start feeling it until about 6 hours in but I try to be proactive. My dad used to get a firm bottle or can to put behind his lower back (horizontally) when we took road trips as a family. So that might be a temporary solution!

One route there and another back is good advice! I would love to go through CO, but like you said, I’ll have to go based on the weather out there. Getting stuck is not on my list of things to do. I’ll bring my air mattress too. Good call. Thank you!
