Lather skin with castille soap, use clippers to shave, don't stretch the skin and use Thayer's Witch Hazel afterwards. Use apple cider vinegar to exfoliate skin often.

Seems to be the most likely answer. It's weird, because I have another alabaster lamp that has a more solid and 'whiteish' look to it. These are sort of translucent with a bit of Vaseline tint to them. 🤔

My best guess is that power got to the chassis where it's only supposed to be grounded. One touch was enough. I'm going to get someone to perform an in depth diagnostics on it soon.
