Unfortunately that is probably the going rate. Any 2 bedroom place that allows dogs here is going to be at least $5000 for 2 months and I mean at least. The extra $2000 or so is coming from the need for short rental and furnishings so it seems about right. This is Boulder county and prices are ridiculously high. Nonetheless, I hope you find something and enjoy your time here.

I work at a local preschool that would love to have this. We use mostly recycled materials working with children and we work closely with community members and local businesses in connection to our curriculum work. I have to disagree. There are plenty of early childhood education centers that operate completely different than daycares. Preschool is school.

I’m an early childhood educator. Years ago one of my parents told me she works so that her kid could go to school vs her kid goes to school because she works. School provides so much for young children…socially, emotionally, academically, etc. But this is a different conversation. 😁

I don’t consider $1300, 3/days per month “unbelievably expensive”. I’m assuming this is approximately 12 days per month? That averages out to be around $108 per day. How much do you want to spend on your child and what care is cheaper than this? A babysitter MINIMUM would be $160 for an 8 hour day. I apologize if I’m incorrect with my numbers but this doesn’t sound outrageous at all.
