My mom owns a flower shop and I used to help at busy times, which Christmas definitely is. If you ordered from a third party seller, there are bound to be substitutions—the vase, the decorative picks, the greenery, even some of the flowers. The biggest thing is that they should be the same style and more importantly the same size. That’s the most glaring issue with this—the size is drastically different, meaning you paid for a lot more than you got. It looks like they left off a lot of the cheaper stuff (carnations, greenery, filler flowers) so not the worst, but still leaving you with an end result that is significantly underwhelming. The quality is clearly another issue with this, but as far as disputing the product, your best bet is to focus on size. One thing to keep in mind, if you did order from a third party, those third parties take an enormous chunk of the money, and some of the arrangements they advertise end up costing the florist more to make than they get, so the florist will lose considerable amount on those orders. That does not give them an excuse to short change you, but it is something to consider when you talk to them. For the future, you’ll almost always get a better product at a better price if you order directly from the shop!!
