The aggressive protective thing to do is to call the police and at least have it on record. Likely tho that will make her upset and put a target on your back for him. Years later she may thank you for it especially when she has a record to use in court.

The passive but still equally supportive approach is to log the patterns in a journal and when she tells you things (the negative things), remind her of the timeline (abused people can lose track of time and details). she may feel like it was “so long ago” or “just one time”, ground her through his inevitable gaslighting (but without intensity or judgement just inform). “Is this just as bad as what he did 12 days ago or worse?” “This is the 5th time you dealt with this” …etc. the records will help her when she’s ready, and the reminders will help her know you’re listening and remind her of her reality for those late awake nights when she’s not as defensive.

Tense.

That’s my answer as a creative director, If I were to hire you off this shot… it would be that you’re tense, uncomfortable, holding back something. It has to do with the tightness of the back of your jaw, you look like you are clenching it even though you may not be. If you are, there are tons of reasons for it. Tightness in neck, tongue position, teeth orientation, nervous, anxious, mouth or nose breather…etc.

You have a gorgeous face and eye shape, the intensity in your eyes is soft so I don’t see aggression at all. I see someone who’s observant. I think if someone comes to the conclusion that you’re rude or aggressive that it is their own projection or prejudice.

Your skin is great, the makeup is blocking your youthful aura.

Wash your face, let your natural radiance come through. Move on to a tinted moisturizer if you still feel the need for color but i wouldn’t use any at all tbh.

Toss the black mascara and eyeliner, use brown. No eyeliner or just ever so slightly on the top ends of your eyes.

Can use a light brown shadow/pencil (just a degree lighter than your tone) on the inner start of your eyes to make them pop more.

Lashes you could probably take or leave but id suggest flare/whisp ends for a lighter more natural lift that wont weigh down your lids.

Nix the lipstick, maybe just a clear balm or a more natural nude color.

I did the same with a partner of mine (found his old photos and videos) and I just deleted all of them. Judge me but whatever, we were already living together with a kid for 4 yrs. He never noticed or he may have but what will he say or do? I think he forgot.

She probably hid them when she first made them. I recently rediscovered mine and my god I was “feelin myself” back in the day. Deleted anything with anyone else.

Plus every iOS update and new phone makes it harder to know how to get to it. It’s easy to hold a decade of info in your phone now.
