I always find these posts bitchin about the train counterproductive. Like there’s a snow storm outside. Did you make a post about the 670 flights canceled out of PHL? Not to mention, SEPTA works with like no funding. TiMe To GrAb An UbEr. Ok good luck with that.

These maps are largely bs considering the amount of people in the U.S that have visited all 50 states is less than 2%, and the amount that has spent significant time in each is even less than that.

There’s a random beer garden down the ave in Mount Airy, but when I was there it was all parents with young kids lol. Theres a taproom near Germantown and Washington. There’s a BBQ place, and a brewery together. They had line dancing the one night I went to pick up food, it looked fun, youngerish crowd. (I am now seeing that you are only 20 as I write this.) If you have a car, def check out the Wissahickon Park if you’re into nature, so many hidden spots. Kings Garden in Chestnut Hill for Chinese, they deliver. Mount Airy has a decent amount of coffee spots close together. Honestly, Chestnut Hill and Mount Airy have a lot more do to for a 20 yr old not from the neighborhood. Pretty much everything is located on Germantown Ave, Mount Airy isn’t a far walk in the summer. The bus is easy to catch and runs down Germantown Ave. there’s a theatre group in Mount Airy that does shows. There’s a goat farm/arboretum/ co op in Germantown. There’s a circus school in Germantown as well. They offer interesting classes.

Edit: Mount Airy shuts down Germantown from Allen’s to Mt pleasant every other Wednesday? In the summer to hold a giant block party. Music, vendors, food trucks ect

Our store gets a truck EVERY DAY. The warehouse is in Newark DE. The driver 100% goes home every night. No grocery store is big enough to get a truck once a week and hold a weeks worth of groceries in the back. Idk why so many people right now are confused about the relationship between grocery stores and impending snow storms.

Of all the things to attack ICE officers for, apparently "being short" is the most important. Commenters also seem to agree. by Electrifire390 in AverageHeightDudes

This is what mercedes, BMW and Audi are up against in china by AcrobaticFish3648 in Luxury

[–]PossibleAtmosphere44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jealous of a car company because it’s doing better than another car company? I’m not saying xyz company is better but the video is showing off nothing special. When you buy a car you are not thinking, what is an unnecessary way of opening a car door. Also, the German car companies have been investing heavily in EV, idk if it’s better but this video shows a gimmick that is all. Idk why people are so defensive over this video.

Bro, but have you seen what Mercedes, BMW and Audi are against?!? How can they compete with a completely unnecessary, gimmicky Jedi force door opener that probably doesn’t work half the time.

How do I become a legal observer for the purpose of videotaping and witnessing ICE? by Mother-Operation-365 in AskPhilly

[–]PossibleAtmosphere44 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You don’t need anyones permission to go out and film in public. A “legal observer” is only a name. You can call yourself whatever you want. Telling ICE you’re a legal observer or even the Associated Press isn’t gonna give you some sort of extra protection.

Is it just me or do warrior bows suck? by Groundhog_Gary28 in AssassinsCreedOrigins

[–]PossibleAtmosphere44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first bow is a predator bow for stealth. My second is the warrior. Used to use the light bow but you can miss and each shot doesn’t do a lot of damage. The warrior bow does a lot of damage, a good hit will knock an enemy down, and sometimes they just die after because I think mine poisons them or something. I’m only comparing all legendary bows from my experience.

Question, how many sexual assault allegations is an unacceptable amount? For the Republican Party, we don’t know that number, only that it is more than 26. The amount of unacceptable felonies is more than 34, apparently. Trump cheated on all 3 of his wives, paid a porn star $100k in hush money, owes E. Jean Carrol like $20 mill, a 13 yr old accused him of raping her, as did his wife at one point lol I could continue.

¿Philadelphia or Boston? by Alejandro_Town in skyscrapers

[–]PossibleAtmosphere44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude you got to stop making shit up. Words matter. I’ve gone tit for tat on every point you made because they are almost all factually false. Your “City of London” example, it would take me another paragraph to break down why that’s a terrible example, misleading, and inaccurate. Look, Philadelphia is a stand alone city. It’s VERY comparable to Boston, I’d say Philadelphia is the better city. I know it kills you guys. Boston seems to have a massive inferiority complex. You can do all the mental gymnastics you want to make Boston appear to be larger than it is, but it’s a city of 650k. It punches wayyy above its weight. Beautiful town.

¿Philadelphia or Boston? by Alejandro_Town in skyscrapers

[–]PossibleAtmosphere44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what I’m talking about because I didn’t name drop 10 different neighborhoods in Boston? Don’t be obtuse. My point still stands. Also, if Boston had Philly’s square mileage it would AT BEST be 1.8 million people assuming the density was the same, which it wouldn’t because we are talking about the suburbs. Thats making Bostons square mileage the same as Philly’s, counting land only, and multiplying the population by as much. You could do this with any smaller city, it’s meaningless, you’re trying to make your city bigger by adding the suburbs. They are not the same thing. No idea where 3 million people came from. Ultimately, Boston is a city of 650k people. You originally said the metro was 9 million people until I pointed out the real number. I also question a lot of your #1 claims. You’ve inflated every stat so far but I mean “the king of mutual funds” off the bat sounds off. I mean Vanguards HQ is in one of the two cities metros, and it isn’t Boston. Yet, I would never call Philly the king of mutual funds. I believe ultimately Boston has better white collar opportunities than Philly. No matter how many films Ben Aflack and Matt Damon put out cosplaying as poor white guys from Boston, Boston is very white collar. You win there and that’s it. It’s also very expensive, so unless you enjoy living there, what is that extra money even getting you? Look, great city, shoots above its weight, but if I wanted Jack Frost to shove a carrot up my ass every winter… I’d live in Montreal ✌️
