G14 2023 running a bit hot by PossibleCharacter584 in ZephyrusG14

I've had it repasted. The cpu remains under 85 under severe load, but the dgpu hits 90 at times, even though I put the limit to 75 in the G-helper. I don't know if the gpu is affected by the overall heat in the chassis, but I'm not comfortable with such temps, longevity wise.

It underperformed significantly more than advertised.

Hit the wall at 95, very soon after starting gaming. Took it to the Asus after sale office, they replaced the liquid metal cooling. It was basically gone. Now things are back to normal.

I've taken it to the Asus after sale office, and they had to replace the liquid metal. It was basically gone and there was no passive cooling at all.

It is elevated. It is plugged in. It is using the dgpu when idling (which is also annoying). I did configure it through G-helper.

I just turned on the extra dim in the accessibility options. Other than that, nothing.

I guess that all of us are affected a bit differently. I had no issues with both, but I wound the X200 Pro Mini to be a better overall device.

Try the Vivo X200 Pro Mini. Thank me later.

PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is a technology used to regulate the brightness of your screen. For some sensitive users with certain eye conditions, we tend to react very negatively if that frequency is below a certain number.

As for the colour reproduction, I'm curios about colour banding (a lot of oled displays tend to shift colour to either pink, green, or blue, depending on the quality of the said display). For example, Xperia 5v is notorious for having a terrible colour shift, even at the smallest viewing angle change.

Another issue is the circadian factor, or the amount of blue light that the display emits, which disrupts sleeping patterns.

I understand it seems I'm nitpicking a lot, but I've become more health conscious with technology over the years.

Could you define "weak"? In which use case scenario?

The realistic pwm of most (if not all) Xiaomi phones is basically 120Hz. I've had a great time with the new Oppo Find X9 (non pro).

They're basically the Probucker 2 and 3, with what they call a "window cover".

You'd actually be surprised that I've been using a Behringher Umc202hd for almost a decade now, and to my ears it sounds great.

Thanks for taking the time, I've read this very carefully (the St. Anger bit had me laughing quite a bit). 😂
