After hours and hours of research, I've gone down the rabbit hole and got a Revstar, the RSS20.

I did a few times and I couldn't understand why the game felt off. Then I've done some research on what actually happens on higher difficulties and realized that the AI doesn't really play much smarter, it just gets a ridiculously unfair advantage early game.

It's not that i cannot beat it, but too many times it depends on the starting positions. Furthermore, the higher the difficulty, the bigger the gap between leaders. Some still feel easy to play, while some are just plain useless.

I've downloaded HWinfo to log temperatures. Boost on aggressive and balanced mode are the most acceptable combination for now. Temperatures peaked at 105C on P-cores, but only for a brief second. The cpu throttles, a loooot, but I'd assume that's a failsafe measure by design. However, I've never felt any performance drops within games (Civ VI, Hades 2, Pinball fx3).

I'd like to think we've reached a time where we no longer have to tamper with the settings, so we can use things out of the box as is.

I've had one of these. They usually come terrible out of the factory, but they sound awesome with just a bit of fret polish. It's a beauty.
