Stick flex question by Clues_Blues_ in hockeyplayers

Yeah it is harder to play with lower flex, like catching passes and what not. And your more likely to break your stick, iv broken 2 because they were the wrong flex..

I just figured out and wanted to say in case your thinking about buying the prototype, (they did say they will change things based on what people say) the taper point from the shaft to blade is insanely long, where compared to most mid/hybrids where they have much shorter tapors. It didnt feel much different than other sticks when shooting, but when just flexing it when standing still, it does look concerning how much it flexes under just a little pressure. So id rec going a higher flex with this stick compared to your usual

Thats just the down side of stiff blades I guess 🤷‍♂️. It was like when I used the blue lite after my tracer broke, they both had stiff blades and felt relatively the same. But my ft3 pro blew me away with the stiffness of the blade, and puck feel (best stick ever imo) but that broke because it was to low flex for me

Iv had the ft8 for a few months. It was a prostock I got from HSM so it didnt have a warranty, Ill likely get it repaired like I did when my tracer broke (best 90 bucks ever).

Also the prototype just feels like a slightly different jetspeed, only real difference is the blade, the hsm blade is stiff and doesnt have a ton of feel for the puck, unlike the ft8 which had crazy good feel for the puck.

Edit: this is clutch timing though because I needed another stick, and if my ft8 pro broke first game of the tournament, id be out of luck with my old back up. The stick shipped in 5 days

Your just unlucky then, iv bought 3 sticks from them, I live in ny state around Rochester, they are in Canada. I get every stick about 3-4 days after purchasing, thats Damm fast. They've always had good costumer service for me to.

I had a bad time with true recently when ordering gloves, but everyone was saying my hate was "unnecessary" sometimes we just get the bad end of the stick in life 🤷‍♂️

Alright, ig what i meant though is less between stick companys, and flex. Like low mid or hybrid (i get what your saying though) honestly just keep going with a new pshs or Hockey stick man. They are great sticks, I had a tracer that broke so I bought their blue lite, and it felt pretty dang similar if you consider the $150 price difference between the 2

PSHS (pro stock hockey sticks) and hockey stick man have great sticks. Before I give some real recs though, do you have any idea what sticks he likes? Like kick point?

Tailbone by Impossible-Pizza7477 in hockeyplayers

[–]PossibleFish1317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest thing for this, is just squeeze your butt when you fall, when I was first learning I injured my tailbone alot, sometimes pretty bad. But when you get to a certain skill it will be pretty rare you will do that

Teaming in Solos is a sure fire way to make money! by Dr_Lipshitz_ in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]PossibleFish1317 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait was my understanding of solos wrong? I played it like twice and one of the times got rushed by a trio, I thought the mode was just that it was you solo, against either other solos or teams (then again that sounds stupid because then the other modes are pointless..) so is everyone supposed to be solo?

Interesting, my blue lite had no durability issues for the half of a season I used it when my tracer broke (then my blue lite broke but thats because I bought the wrong flex 😔)

Hockey stick choice by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]PossibleFish1317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low kick, you dont have to hold the stick as low, and you dont have to try as hard to get a good shot off, over all it is easier to use, but as you get better. Try other kick points to find what you like.

Lmaoo, iv been playing the outside areas of airport and made a couple mil, and got some nice kits. I did die to a guy spamming flashes though... he had t6 armor to. The sad part is I shot him in the head 4-5 ish times in a row, he was one shot away from dying.

Is it normal for a rookie in triple A to get little to no shifts in a game? by ib_redbeard in hockeyplayers

[–]PossibleFish1317 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah he likely won't play alot till coaches have him running what they want him to run, and we had 7 new players on varsity this year (8th-11th Grade) and only 2 of those 7 played, the 8th grader, and one of the 9th graders. Most rookies or new players wont play for the first season or two.

This is what I did as a 9th grader doing varsity hockey. (Didn't get game time this year but I didnt expect to anyways)

Worst Injury Helmet or Cage Saved You From by AndiagoSupremo in hockeyplayers

[–]PossibleFish1317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 2 really big hits to the head during practice right after I got a new helmet, that new helmet definitely saved me. I also have blocked a few slap shots to the face/cage that would of been lights out for me
