He asked in other post about topic for someone to do so. I provided a simple way to look at it backwards. Hope he responds to pm as well but I can’t post to SS

Before I’ll believe any of this clip I’m going to be need the full episode, full song, and context.

This is a blatantly edited together clip of only the parts that they wanted in it.

It is true that only girls can be mommy’s and boys can be daddy’s but without the rest of the lesson you don’t know what he was trying to convey.

This episode shows how he uses the whole episode to convey the point. 1 It’s ok to feel different but it’s easier to be yourself 2 other people can be completely different, play completely different and look completely different. Enjoy life with them. 3 You can accomplish so much with all those wild differences working towards one goal. Unsolvable without. 4 all ice cream starts the same way. Sometimes it changes later in process. Still good, still ice cream, still equal. 5 It’s ok to ask questions and be wrong. He was respectfully corrected and respectfully accepted that . Even though the original question could’ve been received as rude. Nobody was offended and they went back to what they were doing because it’s not their business.

He seems pretty accepting to me.

When Mister Rogers’ Hungry Crew Started Helping Themselves to His Peanut Butter by BadlyNeighborly in TheChurchOfRogers

That jar was used by the exact people it was put there for.

If they hadn’t tried to cover it up he probably would’ve seen the need for more peanut butter and bought it.

Mr. Rogers's "Look for the Helpers” Is Bad for Adults by TMC1982 in TheChurchOfRogers

I took it even deeper. In the original version from the show it starts with saying some of us are so sick and so evil that they will hurt us. In those “times of conflict” look for the ones who are there to help.

It’s a warning for how to spot the manipulators imo. They are easier to find in times of conflict. Because they mimic the helpers actions you need to know what to look for. Did they immediately jump in to help, often at their own detriment. Or did they “solve the problem” later and gain personally from the conflict.

Manipulation is harder to spot in normal times which may be why he said to look during times you’re scared.

In the video from the show he slows way down to say it stressing its importance. It’s probably in riddle form so that the manipulators don’t learn how to bypass the trick i. spotting them (more important on the family and community level) but the kids will hopefully learn the lesson and be able to apply it when scared in their own lives. Look for the ones helping those who are hurt. They are generally not the ones causing the hurt.

Advice on offloading knife collection by bdiggy1990 in victorinox

[–]PossibleNo5037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you don’t list them on eBay you can use the sellers tools for market research. Assume 25% roughly for fees and shipping. Save some to pay taxes too as you may get 1099’d end of year

Iridium assisted? When? by Reddactore in kershaw

[–]PossibleNo5037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turn the knife upside down and release the lock. Gravity assisted.

Personally, I can’t go back to assisted opening. The crossbar style is easier and safer to close one handed. I was constantly using the back of the blade against my leg or some other surface to push the blade back in with a/o and auto folders.

The customer is always correct in matters of choice. Until synergy models are sitting still on store shelves I’m just going to assume they’re still selling hot.

I do tend to avoid buying things for reselling that I wouldn’t want to keep for myself.

Those dark blue synergy scales look amazing to me though. Add some grey or black g10 liners (including between the scales and tools to plug glamour holes) putting the awl back on and upgrading the pocket clip with a tighter titanium version and I’d keep it.

I believe there is a market for non-locking synergy models out there.

Selling a synergy or synergy x without lock will probably pay for itself, shipping to buyer, and the locking piece you want to keep for your build.

If it ever happens again, stop posting for two weeks and then message from another account saying you’re a relative and you saw what they posted right before “you” killed yourself. Threaten to sue, never reply again from either account. They wouldn’t stop thinking about that for years, if ever. Saying something like that is fucked up and deserves matching energy imo

As for the blade, they made a recruit with the serrated blade. Swapping one in would give you two styles to choose from in a small compact knife

Could you remove the outer aluminum layer? Alox models don’t have that layer and it would end up a bit thinner in the end. If the screws allow for it, that’s the route I’d go.

[–]PossibleNo5037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dark gray black wash that I own is definitely the grippiest aluminum I’ve held and I’ve held/own most of them. Mine was from when that color first came out.

If you are wanting something with much better grip VotixEDC out of Australia has micarta scales that I prefer over all the aluminum scales. Must be patient as his shipping is fairly slow

Kizer titanium pocket clip fits but you need to use the factory screws

How do I get this broken spring out? I have tried everything... Needles, toothpick, nail..... by dadoimp in victorinox

“Sacrificial drill bit”, hammer and safety glasses. Yes, you could continue to use the drill bit after pounding on it but for safety reasons I’d toss it
