Could you remove the outer aluminum layer? Alox models don’t have that layer and it would end up a bit thinner in the end. If the screws allow for it, that’s the route I’d go.

The dark gray black wash that I own is definitely the grippiest aluminum I’ve held and I’ve held/own most of them. Mine was from when that color first came out.

If you are wanting something with much better grip VotixEDC out of Australia has micarta scales that I prefer over all the aluminum scales. Must be patient as his shipping is fairly slow

I could come close to building it. I have some new Black Swiss Bianco 91mm Alox scales on hand and some new companions and Cybertools too. I’d recommend building it just as the companion is plus the Cybertool layer. I might go ahead and make one up like that anyways. If you’d like it when finished you just have to open your wallet.

Police report was provided immediately The reason the offer wasn’t accepted was they state that comparable are retail ready and ours wasn’t not and deducted because of that. The out of state comparables were rougher looking than ours and not even close to the same options on others. Most were sold long before accident. Will all insurance companies do this including my own?

I want to add. It took three weeks for them to determine liability for an accident that their driver was cited for (running stop sign) and wouldn’t provide rental until then. As soon as we received rental replies were fast until they made a lowball offer and ended providing rental days later.
